Some people will only meet others who are at least ten years their junior...

Personally I would meet others younger than me but also those up to about ten years my senior... maybe even more.

What is your age range criteria?

So every year does your upper range go up by 1 year?

(I'm 46 and it is really frustrating that upper limits are quite often 45)

Hassle factor. Under 30 and over 60 I found disproportionately annoying, so I excluded them.

30-45. I assume those that say they are 45 are closer to 50. So it is still 10 years either way

I have a very small window as I know a hell of a lot of guys lie about their age, by at least 5 years!

It pisses me off, but I'd rather look at someone and think phoar, rather than shit, you've had a hard paper round
