War, disease and poverty, obviously!
But that’s three, and you asked for two, and I can’t choose between them so I’ll have to dump them all and say prawns and top-knots instead. Just don’t like ‘em. |

"Sex offenders and forced sex

"If you remove war and disease, poverty would largely fade as a bi product "
Why would it? Poverty will always exist as its just a relative term.
Get rid of war and suddenly you have millions of people out of work as you gut one of the largest industries on the western world.
My two wishes would be for the biggest lottery win in history and to live forever in good health.
This thread is screaming for a Faustian version though

"Money, hate the fucking stuff. "
So youd go back to barter?
Money is just a physical representation of units of "work".
If we had to barter I'd starve i produce a product through skilled manual labour that is in very high demand (nearly a decade long waitinglist) but individually mine and my colleagues work is worthless at the end of each day there is nothing i could take to a shop and exchange for food.
How would i be able to live?
And of course once our products stop large parts of the rest of the nation would then starve as these things bring in part of the 60% of food we cant grow ourselves |

I'd like to add Capitalism as my second choice.
No, I wouldn't choose a Better System either. It's the same thing, just in different units.
I don't want to hijack thread with political mumbo jumbo, so I'm not going to explain why and what my alternative would be.
I just don't like Money and I despise Capitalism. Make of that what you will. |

You won't let this go will you? Two apolitical threads and youre repeatedly trying to challenge my view on this.
If I want a political debate, I'll see you in the Political Forum. |

"in a barter system you would be paid in usable commodities but money replaced that a thousand years ago"
But where would the company get useable comodities we dont produce anything use able to anyone that produces anything useable neither do our consumers.
By the time our customers scraped together enough food to buy our product for the company to give to us we'd have starved.
What we'd need is some form.of token of say an agreed value that we could use to directly
Aquire those goods.....But what |

People who start every fkn sentence with the word "so"
People that use the word "absolutely" instead of a simple yes or no!
And yes, I know there are more important things in life, but these two drive me mad. |

I disagree about poverty being relative. If people have full stomachs, a roof over their head, no money worries, steady and fair/just employment, and lived above the poverty line, then the 1% would not be so much of an issue. It's about wealth distribution. People wouldn't be happier if everyone was poor. |
