Playing with people who as scaring on their bodies.
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hi all just a quick question for you all as I don't know if this as been brought up before in the forum.
Chris my wife to be, is about to have a heart operation next month to repair, but if they can't to have the leaking heart valve replaced.
Chris is worried that due to scaring on her chest, that it may put some people off meeting us or playing.
Can I have your thoughts on this.
Thanks Mr C. |

I have some very bad deep scars on one of my breasts. It has never been an issue with anyone I have played with. Naturally some people do ask about them and how I got them. I used to get worried making apologies before even getting undressed... now I don't seem to care as much. Good luck with the op... and embrace the scars as evidence of being strong enough to survive this life! |

I don't think it's fair to accuse people of being shallow because they don't want to play with people with scars. My friend lives with his daughter. She moved into a hotel when he had surgery and didn't visit him when he was in hospital. He knows she loves him she just cant be around illness. I nearly got run over trying to avoid a circus dwarf as they freak me out, have done since I was 7! |

She will belong to a unique club, the zipper club!
I can understand that as a women and because the scar may be visible through small tops and other clothing she would worry, but to be honest which comes first health or swinging?
I for one have several scars, one 5" on my front from a procedure back in 1985, being a chap I don't think the surgeon was to worried about how I look in shorts as he would do a women, and about 2.5years ago one that runs along the lower half oft spine for about 8" where a spinal implant is fitted that is connect by wires internally to a control device on the front of my body the opposite side. This work is extremely neat and I'm sure your surgeon will take into account your worries on this scaring, not to sure he'll be fussed about the swinging side though! lol
If you get peeps who are put off then are they people who you would want to play with?
For me it's more the inner you that's important than a scar you've acquired to keep you healthy! |

I am sure I have commented on one of these before but here just for you, I don't care I am more interested in the person not the body.
And just think of someone naughtily exploring it with their tongue |

I have a 12" scar down my front from an operation carried out before key hole surgery became more popular.
It would have been nice to have the key hole surgery but what's done is done and you take me or leave me, scar and all.
It doesn't bother me but then I'm fat, saggy and have a big arse so a scar is the least of my worries |

Fears and fobia are irational responses to rational situations which is an entirely different response/reaction than what you get from the body beautiful brigade!
You can't compare the two. |

more people have psoriasis then you realise, its just that they for the most part will be able to cover it up.....
I have only had one hurtful comment about mine because it came from someone on here who i thought i trusted implictly... but these things happen...
most people are very understanding of these types of things...... |

My wife who sadly is not with us now, had open chest surgery which left her with a large scar running down the centre of her chest. I was never bothered by the scar and she was quite proud of it. |

I tell women I've got stretchmarks in my foreskin... don't know why but they seem to be attracted by it
If someone is put off you by a scar, they are not worthy of your time.
Best of luck with the op. |

Wish Chris all the best for her future surgery, i have a large amount of scars as i have had lots of surgery due to my disability as a result i also have stretchmarks too. I'am always concerned and worried what people might think of this so i feel more comfortable telling them. So far nobody has said anything to me or had any issues with playing with me. We certainly would have no issues with playing with anyone with scar's we are all human |

It wouldn't bother me in the slightest, I've played with people who have lots of scarring and, to be honest, I barely noticed it.
I have a scar from my c/section and one on my face from an accident, never had anyone say anything about them. |

scars are a life story and go some way towards making a person who they are. Would never be put off by them. Anyone who only sees the scars and not the person beneath is not worth knowing (in my book).
Good luck with the op Chris.

it really shouldnt make any difference but its best to be honest if you think it may cause a reaction. a mate of mine has his whole face scarred from a fire years ago, but it dont affect his skill with the ladys. |

All the best to Chris. The scar will look quite prominent to start with, and, as a lady, she will not like it. However it takes a minimum of 9-12 months for a scar to fully mature. After which they can become pencil thin. If you would lie to know any more please private message me, Andy |

i have a large scar on my right shoulder and another large scar on my left wrist, both from repair jobs and it has made no difference at all. People don't even mention them, how polite are we? don't even think about it, experience shows it isn't an issue. All the best with the op. |

It's very commendable those that have so far replied in this thread.
Others may have swerved it if they find scars offputting, I appreciate that. Freedom of choice.
Some ruffian passed me a pint pot a number of years ago, I kindly thanked him for the gesture but I hadn,t finished the one already in hand. It resulted in 36 stitches under both eyes and nose. Thankfully they are feint, it did cost me my modelling career though
The maxillofacial expert did point out though that it being horizontal it would heal better than vertical as per the way skin tissue is configuered and heals. You have to look close up to see it all just looks like a fading shiner under one eye. Always worse in colder weathers.

No scars would bother either of us for the record |

Scars don't matter to me at all and wouldn't put me off playing with a person. I myself am recovering from surgery which has left me with a 12" vertical scar on my abdomen which is joined to a 7 " one horizontally on the right both from essential ops. My belly may resemble a hot cross bun but I'm just disappointed I never got the tummy tuck I asked for while they were in there
ps good luck with your op and a speedy recovery too xxxx |
