I got to get this off my chest. It's really wind me up. I sent a polite non rude message to a lady on here. She was old enough to really know better. The response I got was quite shocking she said I looked vulgar and said that I am fat. Even though my profile says average. There is no need for that on here. A simple no thank you or just ignore me but to throw insults that is not on. I wanted to report it but she decided blocking me for her rudeness was enough. I am glad to know that not everyone is like her. Totally shocking really.

Even though she has blocked you,it's still possible to report her.

It's worth thinking about because she will probably do it to someone else and i agree with you it is rude and out of order.

You can still report her either from the message she sent you or from the profile under the menu you see the report option

She can't of been special as she wouldn't of bothered wasting time replying.

Shame you can't like comments on here. I like what you said Nessie. It does show how much care. They seem to get off by hurting others. It's her loss really I am a decent guy.

Just what I was going to say. If she sees you've made a forum post about it she'll be loving the fact it's bothered you that much. Best to ignore block and report.

You can still report her via the message itself and you can still report a profile that’s blocked you, you just follow the standards reporting procedures even though it says you can’t view the profile the buttons to do so are still available to do it

I had a message once saying I was fat, old , ugly, the usual but they didnt block me. So I replied is that the best you can do. You really need to up your game if you want to upset me.

I didnt block them and had a few more nasty messages but they went UNLOS after a few hours once they realised they didnt have the desired effect.

Definitely uncalled for and you can block her back.

Posting in the forums about it seems uncalled for to me too though.

True but when they block you it’s one way of venting your frustration

It's when it comes from people who's profiles state how much they hate rude people etc etc and they turn out to be massively rude and negative themselves...

I suffered from a naming and shaming issue. Was being blocked messages by people and has no idea what they were on about then being blocked. Turns out someone with a similar name had been a bit of a knobhead and I copped it by a few who couldn’t read/type

It's because of things like this that I don't reply to messages from guys I'm not interested in. A polite no thanks ends in a barrage of abuse. You're not fat. She has the problem.

Somewhere near here

How awful! If she wasn’t interested she should have just deleted or said so. I assure you not all of us are like that.

I have had a barrage of abusive messages when I’ve said no thanks or deleted, it’s annoying and uncalled for. There’s no need for anyone to be unkind

That’s absolutely awful! We understand some people especially women and couples get a lot of messages but if there is nothing positive to say just delete the message.

If I get a rude message I say ‘fuck off you rude sod’ and that learns them a lesson they don’t forget that’s for sure.

Yes sorry about that pal I'm always upforfun but born in 1979

Lets lighten the mood

Not very nice behaviour from this lady putting it midly pal

If you'd done something to wind her up like constant messaging etc or a little abusive yourself then the gloves are off I suppose

but if she did this like you say after a 1st nice initial message then that is just nasty and horrible

What a crying shame that your not allowed to name n shame on here as the person wouldn't probably come on

But there is 2 sides to every story as they say so as long as everything you've said is 110 then yes a naming and shaming would be good...

....in fact it could be a daily thread title

(But in all honesty I don't think anything else would be posted)

Seems like the way the world is going and how

Tough life is for most everyone's got a fab axe to grind in here in one way or another

Wonder if it was the same woman who sent me a nasty message? She was outwardly horrible to TVs on here too, it took ages for her to get banned off the site as well.

This is a weekly event for me I'm afraid, most men are polite, but I do get the odd rude/crude name calling. I just ignore them, but on the odd occasion it has really got to me.
