What's the longest you've been kept waiting for a meet (social or otherwise)?
What's the longest you've kept someone waiting for a meet?
I have a real thing about being on time, to the point I am nearly always early for meets, and feel crap if I'm not. The problem with that of course is, if I am early, and the other person is on time, I still feel like I've been kept waiting.
The longest I've been kept waiting by a meet on here is 45 mins. I usually wait for a maximum of 30 mins but I think I still have some of my pint left, luckily for him. The longest I've ever been kept waiting for a date was a day. He'd forgotten which day we'd arranged. |

If we arrange to meet in a pub, we'll have a beer, and if they don't show by the end of it, we have a chat, "do we stay or do we go?" If the beer's good we might have another before we decide to go.
We don't clock watch though, but we wont let people take to piss eaither |

I try and get there early just incase I end up getting lost trying to find my way. I've been late once which was because the sat nav took me to the wrong street. I was litteraly just around the corner. By the time I'd parked up and found the house I was about 20 mins late. They knew I was in the area though cause I called them so they could direct me to their house |

We've only ever had 1 no show at a pub although we did turn up at a house for a meet, no lights on or anything, phoned the number given and was told, oh went out straight from work but will be back in an hour if you want to wait! as if we were gonna wait like twats for him to come home!!!! on the other hand we had a social meet last night and were worried cos we were going to be 15 minutes late and kept in contact via text and infact arrived just as they were sitting down with their drinks. Hate being late but things do happen but there is no excuse in this day and age for not letting the other party know. |

LOL I have the same problem as you. I try and be on-time... but every... single... time I just procrastinate and forget things and get caught in traffic and... I'm always late |

I know the one, you get off the ships tenders to get into a taxi to take you a mile into town, the driver stops for a beer, a joint and natter halfway. |
