....is the wrong word. But knowing how hard single guys have it on fab just getting a veri, let alone a play meet, how many ladies and couples, regardless of playing with single men or not would have a social with a single male just to enjoy the company and give them a chance to get them off the mark and interacting within the swing scene? Also, single guys, is it something you would want or is it play or nothing?

we were only just talking about how much we would enjoy meeting people from fab just purely for the social interaction. Rather cynically we concluded that most just want to meet socially if it was likely to lead to more.

We would have a social with most single guys, couples or women whether thy needed to be verified or not. Its nice to make new acquaintances

We have on two occasions offered to meet a single guy for a coffee on both occasions they have said great and then we have never heard from them again. We don't play with single guys but we are always happy to meet for a chat if we are available.

I've offered a few over the years a coffee social natter and they'd get a verification but been turned down everytime as its not what they are looking for, each to their own as they say. Though the sad outcome is I don't anymore ... like they often say, a few can affect the many!

Completely agree, whilst many think of it as an easy hook up we feel that swinging is a community thing and would happily meet just for a social. We are soft swap and unless Sasha is in the mood never play with single guys, but would be more than happy to meet for a social maybe once a month. Its our main reason for visiting clubs, great way to make new friends.

Great idea. I love socials, meeting new people. Some of mine go on to more, some don't. Never any expectations with one x

Beyond the shadows.

I dont think single guys have it that bad to be fair. But anyways I'd much rather people wanted to meet me for social or otherwise because they liked me rather than they were feeling charitable or sorry for me.

we don't meet anyone out of pity or charity, we don't have the time or the inclination.

The op did say they think they chose the incorrect word

The social side is nice but why meet someone if nothing is ever likely to happen

I think the problem is that so often you offer social meet and the person adds that little phrase "maybe more" that immediately puts you on your guard and prevents a relaxed encounter.

If you only want to meet under those circumstances its fine you're probably in the majority here however some of us like to socialise too. There's something for everyone

Like we said, charity was just a tag line and very much the wrong word so please don't take any offence. We, as a couple are very fortunate that socials are fairly easy to arrange and in clubs there seems to be a hierarchy of power, predominately single females, then couples, and finally single men.

Its more that we see lots of forum posts where people complain that they can't get a veri because they get no response from couples or females. We enjoy just chatting and think it would be great if people interacted more and helped each other more. Just being verified in person puts most singles well ahead of many others on the site.

We would only ever meet with somebody we liked the look of and found their profile interesting, and would only meet us as we sparked their interest. We are slowly building a great network of friends and would happily introduce those we met to our social circle. Many of those are cuck or actively seek single males so it would certainly help with networking x

I've met a lot of single guys and helped them out - I'm still picky about who I meet, nevertheless. Otherwise, with functions and parties, I meet a fair few. BUT - there are some people who dislike guys who have a veri from someone in the way I've categorised myself here: it's disheartening.

There will always be wild swings in sexual preference and opinion with regards to who has met who. Many who are happy to meet TV's but still battle self demons in being able to define who they are and accepting what floats their boat. This is where meeting people face to face with an open mind, friendly demeanour and no preconceptions is very important.

some ive met for a social.

but the majority have made their minds up after a time of communication and we meet to play.

its all in the way you are towards that person and how you interact together

Personally I enjoy a social. For me it's part of the build up and as equally exciting. There's no expectations of anything more just coffee, a drink or a meal with good company. If I didn't feel we got on then there's pressure for it to be anything more.

Though as a 4th or 5th time around newbie. I know how hard it can be to even get a social meet and get verified. And because of that I have no expections.

I think one of the organised socials if probably the best way to get verified for a single guy.

I like having a nice social. Yesterday evening in fact I met up with a nice couple and we played some board games with a couple of drinks.

We had discussed earlier that if anything happens then that's fine, but there wasn't any pressure on taking it any further than just a nice night together! It ended up being one of my favourite nights for a long while

I might be in the minority here but I find meeting people I’m not attracted too or interested in having sex with a waste of time...

I’m not knocking anyone that likes this idea....

I’m just giving a honest opinion....
