Have you been together long? Maybe try something different than what u would normally do every year..
i.e.. i have in the past got into a routine of buying the same old, perfume, chocky, pjs, etc etc.. think the comment above mentioned a log cabin somewhere.. PERFECT idea.
U can get cheap city breaks/cottages anywhere cheap as chips these days... or.... travel lodge... u can pre book rooms for as low as a tenner for a room. They have offers on just to fill the rooms up. Choose a nice buzzing city tyo go to and get a cheap room.
