What's with all the timewasters in the midlands at the moment?

People who chat, say they want a meet (at say 7pm), but then cannot provide an address, or their phone is broken so you can't call them.
Or those that arrange a meet for a Sunday night, time to be decided. Then they don't reply to your message when you query what time.
Just a couple of examples. Makes you feel like naming and shaming, but where would that get us? |

Not a criticism, but have you looked at where u are going wrong? Or what you are doing? For instance, do these 2 scenarios have an element of "to good to be true"? |

Like someone else has said, you will get them no matter what area your in. Its something we all have a problem with from time to time. I dont know how you go about meets but maybe try taking more time getting to know them before arranging something???? |

Maybe its a new year thing.. people deciding to be new and into things... and signing up.. then realising that they will meet a stranger for sex.
I got accused today of being a wind up merchant because I wouldnt meet someone..no doubt the fact we had exchanged three messages.. the fact when I got his face photo I didnt like him.. means I didnt waste anymore time.. but hey ho..

how are they timewasters...if you allow them to waste your time then you need to look at your selection criteria...
as i said on another thread, the only useful definition is the one you can report people for...not turning up for an arranged meet with no explanation.

see this is why the word "timewaster is such an easy word the bander around... because in scenario 1, I would not have even start getting ready to meet anyone without an address to go to, or having a chat with someone first.....
do I consider that to be time wasted... not for me... i would have been on my computer and doing other things till i got that information...
scenario 2.... again i wouldn't have started getting ready till i at least confirmed it with someone..... again do i consider that to be time wasted..... not really, again i haven't left my house, people get cold feet, people have emergencies ect ect ect....
people are very quick to throw round the word "timewaster" and profess to want to "name and shame..." but that is very easy to do! |

To be honest one example you gave are a bit dodgy for me.
If I was a single male I would be wary of someone arranging a meet with a time and not having had a conversation on cam or phone before hand.
I would say maybe use your gut instinct more, if it seems too good to be true, it normally is. |

I recommended this site a male friend that I had known for years, within the first two weeks he had a meet and has had more since.
Maybe it's how people approach others, maybe it's pot luck, who knows. |

Firstly, you will noticably find the Midlands full of time wasters as I doubt you try to arrange meets in other counties so how would you know?
Secondly, I like a bit of banter with someone before I get to the 'When shall we meet' bit. Have you considered that you might be a bit pushy and that's why you get that reaction? People don't like to feel pressured and will meet when they are ready. All you will do by being pushy is put people off.
Ask once, if no response, move on. Saves your dignity too. If you adopt this you may find your self being less stressed, negative and bitter. Other off putting traits.

Just consider the following
Anyone can set up a profile!
Anyone can write anything in it to suggest they in say the West Midlands!
Anyone can go into chat and write what they want either fictitiously or truthfully but how would you know?
Some people are genuine, some are nervous, some are keyboard/mouse jockeys coming in here for a quick thrill....
Some people are secretive some are not
Some people's plans may change some people's plans may not.
When you weigh all that up then you can understand that some people are genuine and some are not NO matter where they state they live on there Profile.
