Has anyone else noticed
If a lady doesn’t want to meet Black/Asian etc it’s quite apologetic and an effort not to offend is made
If a lady only wants BBC
It’s quite the opposite |

What a load of rubbish. How can we ruin it for the good people. Who are these good people. Surely everyone is entitled to have who they like. Yes my preference is Black. Not Asian or mixed but black. I do apologise as i hate being rude. But i make no apologies for my preference. I am not ruining it for anybody and neither is anyone else |

Didn’t say it was ruining anything
Just wondering why one is apologetic
The other isn’t |

Im guessing the approach would be the same from black women seeking only white males, they wouldn't be apologetic either, but might be so if they only wanted to meet men of their own ethnicity, however you're less likely to see it because Caucasians are significantly in the majority here. |

OP absolutely has a point, but of course its going to be roundly mocked on here as it couldnt possibly be that any of the female members might lack a little in manners.
His issue isnt preferences, in fact he even references a polite way of pointing out preferences in his post. His issue is that when the preferences are orientated this way it also seems that a certain amount of attitude also sneaks in, or perhaps barges its way in and eats all your crisps.
There are people who don't meet our preferences and we chose not to meet them, but we are always polite about it and while we aren't truly "apologizing" as we aren't of the view that there is anything wrong with preferences we are engaging of the social convention of maintaining etiquette and decorum, apologizing for their disappointment rather than for any failure in our behavior.
Where the preferences/demand is for BBC only the insinuation in the wording of the rest of the profile is usually very clear:
Polite:
I prefer black males with BBCs, sorry if that disappoints
Fab:
BBCs only, shrimpy white and asian men need not apply with your inferior genetics.
Its hardly surprising that it gets people's backs up.
Personally i just take this sort of attitude as a statement of "I have a vagina the size of the Tyne Tunnel, only men rocking an Intercity 125 are worth meeting". |

This is without doubt one of the most articulate postings I’ve ever seen on a forum - along with a suitable portion of humour. Outstanding - a genuine thank you for bringing a smile to my face |

Believe me, the offensive disclaimer doesn't apply only one way, I often see gratuitously offensive text directed at non white males.
I'd go further and say the fetishization (forgive me, that might not even be a word!) of black men often reduced to the lowest sexual denominator in the acronym 'BBC' is also offensive to many. |

I was once polite and apologised for my preferences but after a few years I have learnt that the only way to avoid receiving redundant messages from white guys was to be pretty blunt in our profile about my desire to fuck black guys.
This makes my life (and everyone else's) easier.

Brilliant..... very well written and well said. Plus, I also agree with what the OP said.
It’s not about preferences (which are fine, they are like opinions..... everybody has one), it’s about the way/manner that the preference is put across in the profile |

Amazing how many people that have actually missed the point the Op is trying to make. How about actually reading what he’s said, instead of scanning through and already making your mind up what it is about.
Yes, he has a valied point, I have noticed this, but I guess it’s cause white men are in the majority on here, so they think it’s okay to be dismissive of them. |

Made a similar point previously, if the tables were reversed and it were black women wanting to meet black men, then we'd probably see a similar disclaimer, but probably not if they were seeking to meet only white males as there wouldn't be a 'perception' the choice was being motivated by negatively reasons. |

Have to disagree with the OP
As someone who has seen a lot of “No Blacks/Asians” profiles on Fabs, a lot have not been polite. Sure, some might say, “sorry, not our preference, but more often, it doesn’t say that.
Some profiles say White/Caucasian Men only without mentioning an apology for that preference and that’s perfectly fine.
If someone only wants to meet white men and exclude me from their preference, then so be it, plenty more fish in the sea. I make a note of it and move on.
Why should women/couples be apologetic when saying “Black Men Only” when others are not, when looking for only “white/Caucasian men”?
Don’t be so offended that someone excludes from their preference and simply move on, trying to meet people that will meet you for who you are.
