Notches on bedposts are not quite everyones thing though...
We feel no need to brag.. but as we have a preference for quality over quantity.. Who we see is our business, just as who we choose to be friends with..
Would you post a notice of all your real life everyday friends?? Doubtful.. |

It also works the other way and puts some people off meeting people because of who is on their friends lists ,going by some posts I have seen on here before now.

I think it is a fashionable trend just now to hide friends lists. Maybe make ppl think you know more than you actually do? But in my own case, I tend to avoid ppl with friends lists as long as your arm anyway..!  |

We look, see a great big list and don't even bother... even if good looking.
All it says to us is they are easy.. combine that with multiple sites.. speaks volumes eh..
Nothing wrong with that.. were greatful they do show it.. helps us look elsewhere.
Ok.. arguement could then be well you could be hiding more.. When we have a possible meet and they show genuine interest we'll show them.. Happily!

What you say is plausable so let's say we propose a little experiment
We'll remove our friend list from public view and see if we get more genuine contacts in lets say 2 months than we do with the list shown
Apart from we are half way through the previous experiment seeing if we get more genuine contacts/meets with pics of Rich in our public profile for 1 month lol.. so it will have to wait a couple weeks
So many things to try so little time

Oh and out of interest the jury here lol is out on the previous one (re thead why do couples not show guys pics) after a couple weeks we think in reality it appears to make no difference whether you do or whether you don't. Having said that Rich is no model lol

i think you'll also find its a default option, so to display it you need to go into settings and reset the option, so maybe some don't show it because they haven't as yet reset the option to show their friends list,either way does it really matter if you do or you don't show your friends list ? personally i don't care if they do or don't, but like notts said in his post sometimes a list as long as the M1 can put you off contacting some people   |

At the end of the dsy why do you need to show who your friends are ......
We know who there are, and they know who we are.
Having pages of friends even mean you have attended several parties/club, shagalot or love perving private pictures. Surely any of the above is your business and nobody elses.
At the end of the day its a CHOICE we can all make, its a preference.

Its a case of privacy. Some people dont like everyone to know who they've fucked/thinking of fucking. Also some trawl through friends lists messaging people as a "way in" by association. To some people that can come over as a bit stalky so to avoid any of this we hide out friends and verifications. |

Possible reasons:
1 - there are some people who do contact people on your friends list after speaking to you for 5 minutes using "I know so and so too and they can vouch for me" as an opening line... then you're friends start thinking you've been pointing twats in their direction
2 - if yiu have too many on your list people think you are bragging
3 - if you don't keep many on it people think you are fake
4 - you may not actually keep your friends on your friends list and just use it to perve photos of some people you like perving
5 - why would anyone NEED to know who is on it? Be a nosey fucker and look yeah - but not NEED to know
6 - it's all bollox anyway!

Having read the replies here, and for the most part no one could come up with much in the way of good reasons to have a friends list on profuile we decided to join the fashion of hiding it. Mostly as we never take much notice of others friends lists.
The feedback we decided to keep, after all these are people we have had the pleasure of meeting and they say a lot about the real us.

Seems to vary from between people.
I often read the profile of "friends" of possible contacts because it gives some indication of what the person may be like.
Having said that a lot of people (mostly men in couples) do mislead in their postings.
I have met a few couples where the Male was / is posted as "straight" and then spent blissful hours happily sucking his cock with and without the female
So I would not pay too much attention to that kind of stuff.

I'm sure that a lot of people select from the couples that are posted because they like the look of them.
Then because they fit the criteria you are searching for, it follows that people on their friends list are quite possibly similar. So it saves a lot of time going thru the main 'Browse' pages if you can go thru somebody's friends list!! Does that make sense? |

Yes it does to us, but we only do that by going through their verifications, on the basis that if we like some couple we may well like those they have met before.
We've also been known to do the same with the verifications of particularly attractive couples or ones a lot younger than ourselves, to try and get a better idea of whether they would really want to meet an ordinary pair like us lol

I have to admit I have done this recently.
The reason I looked is if the guy I am thinking of contacting has met a woman who is roughly the same size as me then I may be what he is looking for.
If however he does not say he is only looking for slim then I look at his verifications and if all the women he has met or who have verified him are slim then I would not contact him, saves wasting my time and his time.

On our friends list though we have a mix of people we chat on the forums with.. people we have planned to meet but havn't some we have met and not played with and some we have and have played with... Means little lol.. just means we added em to a list lol.. |

yes we went with " the perfect couple " but were suspicious of the Male, so searched male on male and there he was. I ( male ) am straight but not blind to what may happen, not phased by the touch of a male or being seduced by a male just would like a little more honesty by all that post their details on here. |

Hun I can honestly say most of the people I chat to on the forums are not in my friends list - with the exception of I think 3 profiles all are people I have met or intend to meet.
The other 3 are people who I chat to regularly either here or on msn or via txt and phone.
I can only answer for myself tho and I have no idea if everyone is on everyone elses list.
But you can always jump in (like I did) and people will talk to you and you will soon be chatting to people on the forums who you would normally never see in real life.
Thats the beauty of this site I chat to people who dont like bigger women or who dont meet smokers nowt wrong with it we just reply to things that catch out attention and have a laugh.
