So just been reading profiles the last few days and why is it that when people state....
No Asians or blacks they then follow this up with the words we or I are not racist it’s just our preference !!!
However when I see profiles purely stating BBC’s only or no white men
That’s it, nothing about preference and we are not been racist then???
Is it that it seems acceptable to say one but not the other without causing offence ???
Be interested to know peoples experiences from this
In why view it shouldnt matter who or what you like , put it and that’s that and people should respect that |

You need to bear in mind the ethnicity of the people expressing the preference, 90% of the time they're Caucasian, reflecting the racial distribution of the membership.
So a white person saying they don't want to meet other white people would rarely be considered racist, therefore the disclaimer is unnecessary. |

If someone doesn't fancy you for whatever reason, then tough really. Move on. Don't moan about it. Use your energy to talk with those who do fancy you.
I'm sure even you do not fancy every single person out there, including men. Does that make you homophobic?? No you just do not fancy guys. Simple! |

Just to clear this up , this is nothing to do with me or about me ,it’s just an observation that some people need to justify themselves whilst others don’t

Then there wasn't any need for you to try and shame others then for their personal preferences. Yet here you are. |

I’m not trying to shame anyone , quite the opposite, it seems that people get abuse for putting their preference , so to stop the abuse they feel the need to have to explain , which I think is wrong they shouldn’t have to
As already been said preference is preference

"It's probably down to the grief people get when they say "no thanks". "yeah you would say that your racist".
Who does that? Accept it & move on"
The same people who respond to rejection negatively for whatever reason they're given, whether that's because they're the wrong age, height, location or don't like having pointed out that they have a crap profile..it isn't specific to race. |
