http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bareback_riding
I'm no expert on horse riding, hell the last time I tried doing it bareback was aged 10 and I almost fell off and into a pile of festering turds!
Anyone know the difference? Does a saddle help with heavy people? |

I learnt bareback at 8 with a head collar and lead rope.
The family pony was bought from someone who had bought her for their daughter and was too strong yet she was a gentle lamb with me.
She also taught my children to ride so much so that my daughter could jump at the age of 2.
I have a natral seat and can ride most nutters (i have a velcro backside).
Lol saddles are desighned to despribute the weight.... the horse makes the difference to the weight |

The horse I was placed on was crazy! As soon as it flung me off it went running off and they couldn't get it back until i got some feed.
I gave it evils for that.
Your daughter could jump at the age of 2? Guess I should ask her for tips! lol |
