Hemp is rougher but it tends to grip itself. Knots don’t undo themselves as easily and, crucially, they’re less likely to work themselves tighter. Once a loop is tied and locked, it stays the same size |

Agreed, some react slightly to the hemp.
It depends on the play, it isn’t an either or play though. |
