So I was coming over to wycombe to meet a lady who needed a bit of shopping in Morrisons then a good seeing to in her flat nearby.
I arrive at Morrisons. Send confirmation pic and await reply!
30 mins no reply
1hr no reply! Not even read my message.
I don't like to complain too much, everyone has a life full of surprises!
Not even that upset. Just thought I'd mention it.

"Make sure to report the profile as a no show so so admin can monitor it.really "
Why so surprised?! It's less effort to report a 'no show' than it is to start a thread about one, and the former might actually prevent further disappointment.... Of course, it might not, but this thread definitely won't change anything.
The joy of life on fabs! Happy swinging xx |

For "ad hoc" meets such as this don't you factor in no shows etc?
I wouldn't leave my house without a plan b. If I didn't I'd just think win some/lose some! |

"Nah its all good! I got a phone call later explaining everything! She is going to make it up to me next time! X"
Until its another excuse.. There's no excuse in not giving you a text to say somethings come up after you traveled for her too.
Had this many times before, I think I got so fed up I made the rule if they stand you up once is not happening again. |

Men of Aylesbury actually
Yeah I had quite a lot of people let me down when I lived in Aylesbury.. "I had a car crash driving to you" (had that atleast 3 times), "My nan died" (same guy twice), "My gf came home early" (used excuse twice) and one apparently forgot after an hour of us agreeing to meet at mine and I got ready, ignored my text to ask if he was ok and messaged me 3 weeks later wanting to arrange something. |

Around 6 people letting me down isn't that bad in 5 years is it? Trouble is I'm too forgiving as it's just fab meets but that only goes so far. |

"first meet and you were going shopping together?"
I did that on a first meet once. We went into Homebase to look for a light fitting and then went for a cup of tea. |

Meeting at supermarkets never works.
I got stood up for a date at Victor Value in Aylesbury once. Only agreed to meet there as the check out staff never asked for ID and they were doing a good deal on Mad Dog.

6 in 5 years is not bad at all. I have read in other threads people saying upto 6 in a month let downs. Or even more! |
