I think I always knew there was stuff that I wanted to experience and that chances are they couldn't all come from the same person.
I watched a programme called "swing house" (think it was on playboy) and I realised pretty quickly that it was something I wanted to be part of.

I realised at quite a young age I loved the thought of watching my partner have sex with someone else after watching Boxing Helena with my first boyfriend and in the scene where she watches him with someone else I had my first orgasm that wasn’t by my own hand. I thought about it more and more as the years went by and then I met my husband and found he felt the same, so here we are. |

I’m wondering what created that curiosity....."
A love of sex and making other people feel good?
A love of watching people so in love and so bonded doing things that would tear a "normal" couple apart?
A love of being "different"?
Being sexually adventurous?
I think it's all of those things and more.

I had two formative, innocent, mmf threesome experiences, plus two relatively innocent further same sex experiences, as well as a lot of experimentation with different girlfriends that whetted my appetite. I always found the constraints of conventional relationships limiting but struggled with the inner conflict having had a traditional Catholic upbringing. I have only really come to terms with it later in life but unpicking the historical mental and social constraints that I introjected and the associated emotions has been a long journey. I am still travelling that journey. However I feel more the whole of myself the more I am able to explore. |

Guess I led a fairly normal sex life and "usually" didn't play around. Helped last regular partner through a serious illness which meant nearly four years abstinence. She's now happily recovered but any small interest she had in sex got killed off. I'm not prepared to live the rest of my life as a celibate. Tried another site which was a failure, and then discovered FABS and haven't looked back. |

I read the Story of O when I was 11....had a fumble with an 18 year old when I was 13....and have always thought I was weird for being fascinated by porn as "one man should be enough" as one boyfriend of 7 years put it....he could not understand that it wasnt that I did not love him, that I just like "variety"  |

Afterwards I learnt about references in films and music, though books were a good start. They fed imagination and made me feel it was okay to like different things and not necessarily from one person. |

So for me it was a complete accident.
In my Twenties I'd had a bit of fun with various different partners however I never felt satisfied, so by choice I had 10 years of being completely celibate. I often came away from sexual encounters feeling disappointed and I'd convinced myself that I didn't enjoy sex and wasn't a particularly sexual person.
This all changed 18 months ago when by chance I met a guy who was exceptionally kinky. We had a lot of fun together and he introduced me to the Fabulous world of swinging we are no longer together but I haven't looked back since. I realised that I was having disappointing sexual encounters because I hadn't allowed myself to be open to different sexual experiences. and i also hadnt just let myself go and enjoy it. But like I said I haven't looked back since and now I'm having a fantastic time. |
