You seem to be referring to the noise created by the non-serious individuals, which pushes the more genuine individuals to PM, and clubs.
Chat is horrendous for conversation, full of black silhouettes desperately trying to get uberpussy, or hoping for a more exclusive porno. 
The lack of distinguishers, eg. Webcam vs meet verification, or auto filter inbox by genuiness has caused a bit of a problem.  |

A site like this is all about the people. However, on the forums at least, I think the regulars have circled the wagons tighter and it has become less accepting of newbies and non regular posters. |

The site itself is far better than 5 years ago when I joined
A lot more user friendly , better features and search facilities etc but there is a problem with a lot of the people that have joined
A lot of fake accounts etc but it’s our job as the users to report and to NOT verify users for false reasons
Thst will aid in keeping a great swinging site safe and great for the genuine ones |

As others have said in different words, I think there are a lot of people who join, try desperately then quit, which makes it harder to filter out, but there are a good core of good genuine people (having been off and on here for the last 7 years) |

Seem to get a lot of copy and paste messages nowadays. I know as the same guy accidently sent me the same message he sent the last couple as he left there names in.
Also a lot of messages with no pics at all. I don't expect full face pics but as it's a sex site I would like to see their body's at least! |

Maybe it’s because you have more experience than when you first joined and therefore have a better understanding of what you like. That narrows down who you’re into and things seem less exciting. Maybe. |

Getting the same too but so are many other women I chat to. I suspect some men are sending the same message to hundreds if not thousands and people don't really respond to impersonal messages.

I might be biased but I think that my Wife is very attractive.
That said, we have been looking for a long term buddy for a number of months now.
We have still not found that buddy! 95% of our messages can be immediately deleted as they have clearly not read our profile.
Most here in our opinion are married and deceitfully want a shag, they want it now and they are not fussy who they shag - only our opinion.
Take a sort visit to the chat rooms, look at the comments and that tells you most of what you want to know

I have been here on and of for several years and in my experience it has become a less friendly and less tolerant place. When I first joined I was probably meeting 3 guys a week, nice genuine guys who treated me with respect. Now I have even given up trying as the site is full of guys who think a reply to their message means instant sex. The forums are full of trolls who jump at every chance to put down other people's opinions, preferences and choices and others who can't wait to be offended by just about everything. However, despite all that I'm still here because hopefully one day it will get better again. These are just my opinions and experiences of the site! |

Sorry to hear! Ive got to admit theres a lot of people who are rude on hear which spoil it for those who are decent and not pushy. The percentage of replies is low and not even a reply of no thank you! |

Like any site it has it's ups and downs, it's positives and negatives - there are times I come on and just roll my eyes and others that it's interesting and informative.
I think the forums have maybe got a little more trite lately with far less interesting threads but again they've always had their peaks and troughs as regular posters have moved on and new ones have come along.
In terms of people I talk to and meet though not a great deal has changed and it's that which keeps me coming back. |

Been on and off for a few years now and it seems to be getting worse, mainly because of so many fake profiles.
Easy way to stop this is getting everyone to photo verify within 24/48 hours. Its private and easy to do.... just my opinion |

We wouldn't say in the last few months but over the years it seems to have gone down hill quite a lot.
The site itself is fine but it seems to have attracted far too many who just see it as a site for quick sex.
Many of the comments above mirror our experiences on here.
We used to mostly get messages from people who had at least read some of our profile and knew where we are and what kind of meets we like. Nowadays they are so rare that I can't remember the last one.
Nowadays it seems that the "who's near" function has replaced the profile as the starting point, and messages start with something like "you are only 5 miles away, fancy a meet?" They completely disregard anything in the profile (if, as is rare, they've even read it)
To them the fact that we are close means that Mrs is sat with her legs open just waiting for them.
Also the fact that "who's near" is completely unreliable. We've had "you are close" messages from every Canary island, the Algarve, Jamaica, and even Bermuda, all in the last few weeks.
So we are sorry but now we do not reply to around 90% of the messages we get. If they can't be bothered to read our profile, then why the hell should we be bothered to reply? |

We find it really useful to see the bad grammar.
We filter out the single men (not looking for them) so not a problem for us in messages.
Couples sometimes have problems with reading and writing as well. Some seem incapable of reading the profile and contacting us in a way that we (reasonably) expect - if they want to make contact, let alone get intimate with us.
Then there is the issue of some couples inability to string a sentence together (sometimes even a word).So many one one word messages spelt wrong (even with spell check provided by the site....).
All the above is not a complaint; just as in the real world you have to make judgements on potential sex partners based on how they present themselves, it is the same here.
The system works, the website works. We are relatively new and have met some really nice people and had some great times. |

I find that a decent profile stating what I’m really looking for has helped. It puts people off other than those I’m really interested in meeting. Gone from around 50messages a day to around 10-15. Still get the “fuck now” brigade and those that message me every couple of months, forgetting that I said a polite “no thanks” before. Get less messages but still quality meets. Clubs are definitely where Fab excels. Some Club Events are epic. |

Been here about 7 years now, seems the same to me.
Lots of young guys on the pull, lots of anonymous profiles presumably playing away, and a small minority of people who bother to read a profile and write a decent message accordingly.
About 1/100 messages I get are from the kind of person I might actually want to meet, but it's always been like that. |

FAB is what you make of it.
We’ve had a fabulous time on here since we joined and still enjoy chatting to new couples.
Only thing that changed for us was we blocked single males which made our experience of the site much more pleasurable |

In the 7 years I've been on here, I've found it kinda comes and goes in phases. You get an outbreak or arrogant/entitled. Then maybe Picture Collectors Are Us. I've learnt to spot the timewasters. And the fakes eg: Couples profile. G & G. 46 and 44. He is 6ft 2. She is 6ft. Been on here less than a year. No verfications. No pics or just pics of him. It's pretty clear that it is a single male. There is a couples profile on here, where in truth it is just a married guy, who has stuck a load of pics on, made up other profiles and verified himself. He gets couples to meet him at the pub. He sits outside, waits until he sees they are there, then phones to say his wife can't make it but he would like to buy them a drink by way of an apology. EVERY time he gets to go back with the couple. He boasts about it! The couples even verify him! Ok it is devious, but you need to remember that there are people with funny ideas out there, and it is up to you to protect yourself. As a single female, I've had a couple of `strange' meets, but in 7 years, that's not too bad really. I always let people know who I am meeting, where I am going and if I am not sure, I don't meet. This is my hobby after all. |

Actually this is a good question to ask. I been a memeber since about 2011. When the old chat rooms were up and running. People got on no bitchyness. Mind due kik whatsapp and snapchat wasnt around then not like now. All these young profiles i think are made up by possibly admin or loads of keyboard warriors. The word stunning in chat rooms pisses me off no end/ Fabs is free but i think admin have to sort the genuine swingers from the fakes. |

I’ve found more sexually up for itpeople offline. The hotwife couple who flashed me on the tram home. The young student who asked me about my camera while I was having a coffee. A work colleague who started showing me pics on her phone of herself being gangbanged.
I think the problem is the disproportionate female/Male ratio. It needs addressing. Why not give ladies free or cheaper membership. That’s what clubs do cost wise? |

I’ve been on here, what, three and a bit years? (Christ, I need a new hobby). Still loving it...it’s not gone massively downhill for me. The hordes of faf single males that I can politely ignore. The freaks who ask for the strangest illegal things that I can politely report. The timewasters, the pic hunters, the bullshitters and the desperate. And occasionally an absolute diamond of a guy that I can lose my head over for a short time. Dance the dance, play the game, run the hunt. It’s very hit and miss, but guess that’s a normal thing online. In between the dreamers, dick heads, pic collectors there are some true gems, just takes a little longer to find them nowadays

As others have said, I don't think it's the site that has gone downhill. Fab is made up of the people that populate it. Having joined around 8-10 years ago there has been, I think a noticeable change in the way people use the site.
When I first joined it was more about meeting people, now in my opinion, there are far too many people using it as a social media site, which in many ways it is. But there are far too many who are only interested in, photos, camming and chatting/using the forums. Many now will only meet in clubs and just use the site as a social platform.
Since I have rejoined, the above is the main reason I left but got drawn back, I have found it still to be the case, I think it is more difficult to arrange meets than when I first joined, partly because there seems less people that actually interest me. Of course I probably interest very few anyway. I know it is effort in to achieve success, but just find very little to put the effort in for at the moment. It could be me that has changed, rather than everyone else, of course.
I'm not moaning, just observing, I've been very lucky over the last 20 years and have had some great experiences and memories. I still live in hope that the couple or female that pricks my interest, or me theirs are here somewhere. |
