As for the bias against slim women, you know that is bollocks. A small percentage use the forum. On the BBW appreciation threads I would say there's a mix of guys that truly love larger women, guys that are open to all body shapes, and guys that hope bigging up big women will get them a fuck. Many big women get shit about their size all the time. As someone so nicely pointed out on another thread, top pics are rarely bigger women. So why can't you just let us have our acceptance threads and be happy for us. (For clarity I don't really give a damn. I get plenty) |

Obese isnt a term of abuse, its a medical definition and means a BMI above 30. Most people who describe themselves as BBW will likely be in that category.

I can't speak for all larger ladies but can give my own viewpoint on this.
I don't look for gym fit men but I don`t want to meet larger sized men. It's not because I don't find them attractive. It's because if you are both obese then unless he has an 18 inch cock many positions are very difficult. It's hard to bump uglies when there are two fat bellies and arses in the way! |

An earlier post queries whether there was appreciation for fat men. The point was made that BBWs often specify “gym fit” etc. in their profiles, which is something that only really happens in the weird microcosm of fab.

This thread contains a number of comments implying that being BBW (obese) is somehow more “natural” or “real” than being slim.
That’s body shaming, but is seen on here as acceptable.
I think you will find with a comment like that it is you that is doing the body shaming!

Yes I completely disagree with it because as you said it was implied not said but you have said that a woman that describes herself as BBW is obese therefore that is body shaming. You are clearly looking to be controversial because you are posting on a thread meant for people that appreciate BBWs so why you just being offensive.
You seem to be contradicting yourself.
The poster you’ve just said “very well said” to has agreed that the implication was there, and acknowledge they were called out earlier in the thread.
If you can’t see how someone saying BBWs are “natural” is implying that slimmer body shapes aren’t, I’m not sure how else I can explain it to you.
And you really don't think that implying that somebody that describes themselves as BBW is obese is body shaming!

Obese isnt a term of abuse, its a medical definition and means a BMI above 30. Most people who describe themselves as BBW will likely be in that category.

No its not a term of abuse but still it is not very nice for some people to hear and you really didn't need to put it unless you wanted to offend people.
As for body shaming the original post was saying that he appreciates BBW, no body shaming there, now if you don't then you didn't need to open the post and make a comment.
You have your own appreciation post now for slim women so you stick to them and let others in this post appreciate the BBW. |
