I love wearing stockings but have such problems with them. If I wear hold ups then they fall down, I look like Norah Batty and end up fishing around under my dress trying to hoik them up again which is not a good look!!
If I wear a suspender belt then I feel like I'm trussed up like a chicken and need to do that whole fumbling around thing in the middle of our sexy fun to get them off!! 
I prefer hold ups but not at the expense of looking bedraggled - lol!!!
Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom???

Find a better fitting suspender belt. I never have this problem and I wear them all the time during fun.
Try slightly larger stockings with the suspender belt so that it's not getting pulled down.

at the risk of offending perhaps you might try some slightly more expensive hold ups that have "stickier" tops, My ex had a pair that were quite expensive and they stuck like glue to her slim thighs
Just a thought hope it helps |

If you want your hold ups to erm hold up, do not moisturise your legs beforehand, or put them on with ahnds that have just been moisturised.
I find crotchless stockings better for meets as holdups tend to roll down when you get all hot and sweaty.
Lovehoneysell them and if you want to reuse them, get ones like fishnets, they seem to last longer |

Yeah i was gonna say the same, i get my hold ups from M&S and they have real good sticky tops and never fall down...Only pair ive had that have maanged to stay up and not roll down and i have quite large thighs so its even harder getting them to stay up or not cut into my thighs but those fit just perfect. Defo worth a try!  |

They don't stay up on my chubby legs lol but try sticking them in the freezer before use or try extra firm hair spray, Spray on the sticky bit for extra hold lol. |

i wear hold ups with suspenders
i prefer hold ups but some outfits have suspenders so i wear holds up with them as its just comfier than stockings, i dont like the dips you get in stockings between the suspender clips i like the stocking tops to be straight which is where holds ups come into play |

i buy expensive hold ups and they still drop down too so not ust you! i just bought a spender belt that had 6 belts to hold up the stocking so it keeps them up more so and feels beter one to.if u want more info email me |

the best holds ups i have found to stay in place are ann summers and they only £7 a pair, dont really like ann summers as a rule but i do buy their stockings and the fish nets last ages i get get about 7 or 8 wears out of them before they have had it |

I recently bought a suspender belt in Evans as am a 28! They don't sell stockings in store! I have some hold ups from m&s but they don't seem to want to attach to the belt! Going to get some stockings from m&s and try again!
It's so hard finding things to fit the bigger person!
Oh and my hold ups always roll down! One leg worse than the other! Go figure! Lol |

Im the more fuller figured lady....and have fo say either debenhams or primark best hold ups....wore them over christmas period never once moved....think its trial n error...good luck x |

Looking at one of your picture, the suspender strap seems to be quite long, have you though of getting the stockings in a longer size, or for a taller person. That should result in a shorter strap and less to sag and get caught.

Hairspray on the hold-up top works if you have thinner legs but as most have found out they are not designed for those of us with larger thighs.
6 or 8 strap suspender belts work well with conventional stockings, but you need a bit of imagination to have fun with them still on ( more for the lovely look and practicality of wearing stockings than for the fun to be had )
To be fair, one of lifes pleasures is seeing a stocking being re-adjusted in public.......x |

As a lap dancer we all wear hold up's or knee high but the best i have found are from M&S and John Lewis weirdly. Super sticky and never fall down when im dancing which is a massive bonus. Also seem to be able to wear them over and over without any issue. Only reason's i had to throw away was because there was a massive ladder. |

Thanks guys and gals, for all the help and advice. I will defo be trying out M&S, Primark and Ann Summers and see which ones work the best for me.
I'll also be trying the hairspray tactic and eyelash glue. I'll keep you posted!!
Hopefully there will be no requirement for my hubby's advice - cable tie them to your knickers!! lol!!  |

I have an 8 strap suspender belt from stockingshq and it is always appreciated. If anything they're seen as being kinkier and the guys love putting their fingers through the straps at times. Keep the stockings more even looking.

I too get my suspenders with metal clasps from the same site and you're right ..... the guys love them, so much so one guy still has a suspender belt of mine! |

on cheap suspender belts the adjustable bit often slips so the stocking gradually droop. this can be fixed by a couple of judicious stitches to hold it where you want it. |

I always wear Jasper Conran stockings or hold ups from Debenhams and they never fall down. I do find that if you fork out for a more expensive pair they will last ages. Its false economy to buy lots of pairs of cheap ones. I always make the most of the sales too |

I said id update when my stockings arrived. I used a site called uktights. I ordered three pairs all different and although only tried them on they seem to hold up really well. I ordered large, my fattest thigh part is 20" but i may have got a medium ok. I do like them to come high up. |

being a lady with larger thighs I find the wider lacy top hold ups good.. look for ones with two sticky strips... for playing I use either Peacocks or Ethel Austins, not expensive but look so sexy.
I also attach suspenders to them for added effect. |

Absolutely love seeing ladies in hold-ups or stockings & suspenders but not so keen on the octopus versions, they look over-engineered - 8 one-inch wide pieces of elastic to hold up a bit of nylon is OTT. |

Those over engineered ones do serve a purpose with real nylons. The clasps have to be metal as nylons slip through the plastic fasteners on other suspenders, and six or eight straps help keep the stockings up evenly, there is no or very little give in a nylon stocking. I hate to have baggy knees and wrinkled ankles so use them myself when wearing ff nylons. |

Hi all i use tit tape to add hold to mine get it from fleabay 3 quid for 9 meter rolls extra sticky (its a bitch getting it off my hairy legs lol)
and they have 12 strap suspender belts keeps em where you want em |

Yes, being a designer myself I appreciate the reason for them but from aesthetic point of view they are not nearly as sexy (my personal opinion of course). |

I would try & six strap suspender belt or girdle from stockings HQ, the straps are small & will keep your stockings up, the problem with most suspenders belts is that the suspenders are very long & you only get four, so they won;t keep your stockings up!
Turning to hold-ups, M&S are good & stay up all night, but if you want to push the boat out get some wolford hold-ups, with them you will never have any problems, they will stay in the same place all night.

I agree with Jasper Conran hold ups and stockings, they're fab! Love the big lacy tops on the hold ups as well! But I discovered a seller on ebay recently and bought 3 pairs of great hold ups for a fiver!! Absolute bargain and they stay up amazingly and will be worn again and again! Not sure if I can give the seller's ID on here but happy to reply to PMs. I've been back and bought several more pairs now including suspender tights and seemed hold ups |

Try Asda. They do really nice hold ups £4 for 2 pairs, in XL and they are perfect. Evans bahhhhhhhh...bloody rubbish they are.  |
