I personally have no issue with period and sex going hand in hand. I dont take period as anything but just a routine matter which should never stop anyone from sex! With my trusted partners, i dont mind going below either. BUT, whenever I do raise it to my non swinging friends "day-friends", i do get unwanted reactions! as if i am some sort of a freak! Many think its unhygienic, some consider it dis-gus-ting. I never get a positive reaction. I dont know if people actually secretly love it or aint that bothered, yet they feel they have to appear hating it or at least condemn it. Any thoughts? How do the ladies feel about it? |

Well thankfully my days of "having the painter's in" are long gone. In the past I occasionally had sex whilst on my period, but only with my partner. I do have to say my libido was always raging at that time of the month. However, I don't honestly think I would have been happy to play with others, although I don't see it in anyway as being disgusting...just wouldn't have been for me. |

This has been raised a number of times but each time most of the posters seem to think that sex has to mean penetration.
Sex would be pretty monotonous if it was simply about vaginal penetration! |

Thats a shame for you, to miss out on having fun. Maybe mention it and see what they say. My hubby never wanted sex when i was on because when he was in the army they said men could get warts from having sex when a woman had her period, i told him that wasnt true. Then when i was in my fourties i had to have a mirena coil due to heavy periods, only then i had lighter periods but they lasted for 3 weeks so as we didnt want to go without for so long we did have intercourse and he used a condom. |

It certainly wouldn't put me off.
I don't think us men are strange - simple yes, but not strange. |

We have had sex while i have been on my period, it used to be a frequent occurrence before i got the injection and my periods stopped but i didnt see it as dirty or unhygenic, just a bit messy.
however! i can understand how some vanilla friends may think it weird that you are bringing it up with them lol.. |

Doesn't happen now, but wasn't any problem when it did. It's natural after all. We have qualified for our 'red wings!'
G has memories of a one-night stand years ago. When he and his pick-up woke up the next morning the hotel bed looked like someone had been slaughtered in it; she'd started during the night but the light had been off and they'd been too occupied to notice. |
