No way to defiantly get anyone to read your profile but you could put a sentence in that says quote said word to show you have read my profile.
I have one to see if it works but for a lady which prob gets a lot of mail will help to delete and move on I guess. |

The main argument for not reading profiles is 90 % of them are from timewasters and charlatans so it’s the biggest waste of time you will ever do in your whole life .You May as well look just at a few basics and choose according to your own personal preferences eg

30 mins away -exclude
3 different verifications in last year -exclude
Tattoos on photos - exclude
Piercings on photos -exclude

If I knew the answer to that question, I would bottle it and sell it.
I tend to stick to good quality clubs and parties these days - with the occasional meet. The depression caused by getting so many messages from guys who clearly cba to read a profile gets me down to be honest. |

No it doesn't always mean that. It usually means that the person is only willing to meet very locally or in clubs. If you put 'can travel' on there sometimes, some think that means you are willing to travel many miles. It can help cull the messages from further afield. |

How I understand it - Cannot accommodate = lives with family, parents, housemates etc so not convenient to bring anyone round.. Cannot travel = doesn't drive or have a car (my case). People meet in hotels or elsewhere if they use taxis or other means of transport.

When you think about life on fab it's about stating the obvious, most threads and their theme have been covered over and over and the age old problem of some guys seeing a pic or seeing you in cam room and messaging is exactly that , it's the 'see a sexy woman raise a dick problem' as long as women exist this problem will exist, the people may change but the theme will continue, the guys here who get success read the profile so they don't message. |

Wow that got tense!!! Often people don't read every message on a thread, often they will just answer the OP, is that so wrong ??
Anyway back to the OP I don't think you will ever guarantee anyone will read anything, I know when I see more than a few sentences, I lose interest, fab a few pics and move on. So without recalling what is on your profile, I'd suggest short, sweet and to the point.....
I also like the magic phrase thing that some put in a profile, helps you identify who did and who didn't at least read some of it ..... |

I would really like to know the answer, too. Yesterday, especially on my couple's profile, I got about 10 different messages from guys even though we're not meeting at present. As having a 3rd person in the bedroom is too much of a risk for me, with my broken knee. Also, I see no point chatting to anyone at present as I don't know how long the recovery is going to take. But I had a feeling that guys just choose to ignore what they read. One actually had a cheek to tell me my single profile was contradictory . No clue what he found contradictory...b |

Hey its a product of the site guys send loads of messages, polite based on profile, pic attached they do this for a while until they almost expect to get no reply, so then they throw convention out the window and just go for the age old pic and do I fancy her...... I think this day and age, people don't read or like to read much. I've noticed younger people write very short profiles.
I think long written profiles cause people just to scan and not read properly.
Personally, I like a nice thought out profile. |
