Very quiet in Plymouth......? Do me a favour..... Everytime I log into Fabswingers there’s at least another two women/couples from Plymouth joined. I suspect every other household is on this site!  |

Sadly, from my location, it’s a tad too far, but looking at some of the people looking for meets, there are some seriously attractive girls/couples up there. Is it so sexy because it is a naval port with lots of uniforms about? |

you don’t see a lot of them in the forums so it’s a bit hard to get to know people,unless you message them direct I suppose  |

I think the “issue” is. And this is only my opinion, but fab is a bit dead. For various reasons. Lots know each other and party with each other. Or meet at clubs.
Swinging is not dead in Plymouth but I think the use of fab is not required as much because as I said above, lots are friends and keep their circle tight.
A circle we’re not part of, may I add  |

fab is dead ?? erm no fab is working the same for me as it was when i first joined all those years ago with hubs and the joint profile ..fab is very much alive and jumping ..if its dead then its dead for you most people i know who use fab are doing fine 
and the southwest is a real hotbed |

I don’t think Fabswingers is dead but as said before due to fuckwits, couples especially are probably sticking with friends and friends recommendations, plus the club culture appears to be taking off. Safe environment etc. Lots of nutters about.
This causes us singles out in the back woods not to be seen.... For me, I can handle this and will eventually go to a couple of clubs, funds willing, but as I’m a voyeur and not an active perticipant it’s doubly difficult.
The bottom line is that this is a good site but needs careful use to avoid the trolls.

I think people are very cautious especially if you just message them out of the blue and sometimes it’s hard to break the ice.
I won’t jump into bed with anyone as the chemistry and attraction has to be there and I think putting a local thread like this up will hopefully get people chatting to each other and you never know what the future might bring. |

I guess it depends on how you look at fab. I think it is. But like I said, that’s just my opinion. Didn’t say swinging was. But fab isn’t as good as it use to be. Quality is poor. Loads and loads of men who don’t have a clue. That’s just my thoughts on it

I think we can all agree that fab works differently for different people.
Hell yeah. Could put up a meet now and get lots of interest.
Will it be from anyone I class as good quality? Who knows. Do I risk missing a message from a quality profile because there’s so much crap coming our way? Most probably.
It’s good though when you find that diamond in the rough. Iike our last meet verification. |

It just seems odd to me..... I read all these posts and comments about no shows etc..... How is it that us genuine guys who will turn up, send polite messages of more than one line, who have obviously read the full profile just don’t get a look in. Are these time wasters just good with the bullshit... I know I can’t bullshit as I’m too honest and I’ve never been great at flirting but I can hold an intelligent conversation... More than ‘wow... great tits’ on first meeting.... Are these people who get let down expecting/hoping for more than they should. |

And unfortunately I find really living in the arse end of Cornwall, most people want under 40s so can be difficult, and logistically a nightmare to travel. Say a, social in Plymouth for example 4 hr round trip. |

It's just the ways of Fab and always will be. We've played in the north, down here in the south and nearly in the middle (hi Bristol ) and everyone seems to have the same gripes...The grass is greener syndrome maybe? If you run your profile and prospective meets with due diligence then Fab can be everything you want it to be. |

agreed but what ive noticed is this...when im not in an area, everyone seems to be from there but when i am in that area, nobody...i think this is more to do with fabs algorithm than anything else. |

To be honest there’s something about the wording of your profile that just isn’t very enticing. You come across as being quite hard by staring off with the time waster rant and it really doesn’t do much to express any personality or desire, which might explain why you are only experiencing muppets or fakes. I have been on fab. (Off and on), for the past six years and I have met some great people and had a lot of fun so maybe you should work on the profile a bit? Just saying  |

I think it was very specifically set up for local coupkes to find other couples. There is certainly room for a social that includes single men and I would be interested in attending if there was. |

I agree. I went to the Leicester social recently amd that was couples plus singles of both sexes and it worked really well. |

We would be up for a SW social. We have to agree with some of the above comments. Fab has changed for the worse over the last couple of years. We are not sure why, it’s seems that people are less genuine, quicker to mess you around and waste your time. It’s been a while now since a Fab meet and it’s not due to lack of trying.
But it is a nationwide thing, not confined to the SW. we have swinging friends in Yorkshire who say exactly the same thing.
So any genuine couples/singles who meet our profile requirement and we meet yours in the SW, we would be pleased to hear from you. |
