When travelling to a new meet, which towns would make think twice. Personally I think i would have little in common with someone from Swadlincote, Dewsbury or Peterlee. |

Pretty much anywhere that’s not a city. Unless there was someone exceptional there...
Controversial opinion but - people from towns and villages are.... different |

I love travelling the UK, generally I mean, not for meets.
Can't imagine anywhere I wouldn't go. Love exploring new places, even if they are a bit crap.
I wouldn't travel to the back of beyond for a meet tho, I'd prefer somewhere halfway that we could both get to. |

It’s say more about the OP than it does about the people from those towns |

I can honestly say that where a person lives has never impacted on whether or not they might be of interest...other than simple distance.
Why on Earth would someone who lives in Rochdale be any less attractive to us, than someone who lives in Harrogate?
Strange take on life OP.

Well I been all over here. A lot of Scotland and England.lived in Aldershot Leeds and just outside London. But been all over. Even been to Wales once or twice.so there's not really any town I would never go.
Simply because how do you know that you don't like it if you have never been |

And how would you know their entire wardrobe comes from Sports Direct unless you shop there yourself?

We live in Glasgow, just about as rough as it comes. Would only discriminate against meeting people who’s surname and area were widely known to be gang affiliated, which is purely for safety. Other than that I don’t see the point

I went there to see a friend a couple of years ago and was wondering if I had been transported to a different part of London when I got off the train.
It's like that in a lot of the old run down parts of London now. |

Surely a place is what you make of it. I've been to stoke on Trent today, people said it's a shit hole. I took my daughter to Stafford university open day and it was a fantastic university, she loved it and I'm sure she will make the best of the shit hole people said it was |

I find it rather strange that anyone would think there's something wrong with generalising or that you could even get through the day without doing so!
And I find it equally as strange that you could judge a person based on the town they live in literally can’t get my head around the logic of it!
Ok, try and think of the kind of personality you like. Do you really think that personality type is proportionally distributed across the country? "
Not at all. But equally, I’m not narrow minded enough to generalise the people of a town based on its name or location |

Well looks like the position of fwb is open again lol
Seriously - I don't get this at all. I would rather meet a person - not a postcode. And a nice postcode doesn't necessarily mean a nice person. |

Yeah that’s true but some places just produce more dodgy people than others so I guess you can say a small minority can ruin the name for others |

It implies a nicer house...and a waitrose (vs Iceland) nearby...so post-coital finger food will be better. |

"Any that are too far from us but mostly Blackpool or Rhyl
Don't ask me why, just somewhere we would never choose to go to."
Pmsl you would be surprised!! There is poverty here like other seaside towns. But we have a beautifully clean beach, a new theatre, new water park, new skate park, a beautiful marina, new shopping park outlet. Loads of the dilapidated buildings have been knocked down. We still have lots of those houses of multiple occupation that they house all the people who have ended up in unfortunate positions. But I tend to do what I can to help rather than let it scare me away from a place xxx |

That’s all that should matter. The rest of the other BS is just absolute background noise that should never be the main attraction determinant. |

Its the drugs problems that get highlighted in the media and having been there many years ago that puts us off.
Notice no one defending Blackpools honour though
Mind you saying that we wouldn't go to London either, apart from having to for work from time to time. |

So let me get this straight.....
Some of you would meet people for sex in any neighborhood and not think about your safety?
I understand being politically correct, but not going to a bad neighborhood at night shouldn’t be looked upon as shallow......
The last time I was in the UK , I was staying in Cheshire with my Uncle... I logged onto Fab and got offered a meet in Walsal. I asked my uncle to barrow his car , and he told me there is no way he is allowing me to go to Walsal at night....
