Well "its" has an apostrophe and a sentence requires a full stop.
I will throw my hat in and question whether or not it should be a full stop or an exclamation mark at the end of the following sentence.
No need to thank me, it's a pleasure! |

For all you boring trolls who like to argue over who is right when it comes to grammar--feel free to bore each other on this thread, instead of ruining the fun for everyone else.
There's no need to thank me, it has been a pleasure.
AH, RELIEF.
(Sorry for deleted previous message, my grammar wasn't adequate for a response, had to correct). |

Either is structurally correct although an exclamation mark would normally convey emphasis, excitement, or surprise. So by adding it you're telling us that you either get lots of pleasure out of helping, or are very excited, or are surprised at how pleasurable it is. Or perhaps all three. |

Item 1, Item 2, and Item 3. Yes, double spacing.

Start a sentence with a capital letter please and end with a full stop. It's detention for you! |

We’re just all in a rush, so much so that we don’t proof read our own messages. Life is too short.
It’s risky business calling others out on what might appear to be a lack of basic English writing skills: the reciprocated scrutiny can be brutal. And, we all make little mistakes. |

I don't think I've seen people arguing about grammar but people have been corrected. That is surely a different matter as it is either correct or it isn't. |

Thank heaven we at last have a topic worthy of attention. We can all, now, get away from the pre-occupation with sex.
Perhaps we can now get onto the subject of good manners. I can't remember the last time a lady said "thank you", after I had left a load in her pussy.
I blame the educational system. Or should that be "education system".
Any way my grammar was married to my grandpa. |

I’ve got chocolate cake in the kitchen. It doesn’t know anything about grammar. I’m really, really hoping it doesn’t turn to shit! Shit and pouring cream doesn’t sound terribly appetising! |

Some profiles on here use txt speak. Doubt most would care about the grammatical error in your message, you aren't a single male.
Feel free to pm any grammatical errors in my profile across. I am more than happy to receive feedback; certainly not precious. |

Are we allowed to start a sentence with 'and' or 'but' these days? The Economist makes a big thing of it but it still makes me cross
I don't think virtual keyboards are helping, mine seems to have a mission to insert as many errors into my writing as possible (it's never my fault!)

Let's*
Contracted form of 'let us', where the missing letter is replaced with an apostrophe. |

The lack of post editing is annoying. |

I know. The lack of post editing functionality is annoying, especially as I produce quite a few typos when typing on my phone. |

There is nothing more boring than watching someone wank on about how much better educated than others -especially when the only way they can express this or justify said education is by being an utter gramtard about it! |

I fear that Mr Blonde may be a slow learner -either that or he couldn't quite figure out why all the other kids were throwing things at him for repeatedly answering all the teachers questions correctly. |

Well he seemed pretty damn pleased with himself to me. Anyone that pleased with themselves ought to be excited!
(I used my exclamation mark as I wish to convey emphasis, am somewhat surprised and dare I admit it, a little excited as well!)
Oh there's another one!
And another.
I'll stop now.
To much excitement for one thread. |

The problem is that English is not taught properly in school now and people who, for example listen to Radio 5 hear many people with poor English and then copy it.Race to the bottom. |
