Does anyone else find it frustrating as a guy that you get likes on your pictures and winks from a couple who find attractive and want to chat to and when you go to
Message them they don’t accept messages from guys.
So frustrating! I can understand why they’d only accept messages from guys as they must get inundated but they are the ones winking at me to initiate a conversation. |

Unfortunately some people have difficulty setting there filters to suit there needs, which can be the main reason this happens. Primary one is age many just leave it at 18-99. |

Where in the wink does it say anything about initiating a conversation? |

A wink can mean any number of things. You'd have to ask the sender what they meant by it for your answer. |

I don't need to, you send a wink you're showing interest what other reason is their, none, they are sending it to see if other party would be interested in them, so that party the Op initiates contact, he did and hence the thread |

That's the OPs problem. He is unable to respond to a wink because of filters. |

You may have your own very limited interpretation of what a wink means to a sender but that's by the by in the wider scheme of things.
I could spend the next hour listing possible reasons but can't be arsed tbh.
It might be stating the bleeding obvious but if the wink sender, in this case, has specific contact filters on then the one thing they are not initiating is communication. Is that too obvious? |

If a couple message or wink at you it means you can message them. Fabs system is set that any contact from someone with filters is switched off for that person. So if they did wink at you then you can message them.
Click account then filters and read the paragraph at the bottom .

I personally cannot think of any other reason to wink at someone except to say I am interested.
If they are just appreciating your pics there is a feature for that.
All the people saying there are numerous reasons for winking.....perhaps they would like to enlighten us thicko's with that list of reasons.
Surely that would be more helpful instead of nastiness... |

That is what fabbing photo's is for. If you think a guy is so handsome why would you not want to speak to him. What exactly is the point....one might go down the road of viewing that as being a bit of a prick tease.
I could never wink at a man just for the sake of it....what a waste of time and energy.

A wink turns the filter off. See the filters page |

Being objective, here's five off the top of my head:
I like the tone of your profile.
One line in your profile made me laugh.
Love your varied portfolio of pics.
Agree with something you said in forums.
Thanks for fabbing my picture.
