"I find it hilarious the amount of couples/ ladies who go through the effort of getting their hair done, wearing the sexiest, skimpiest outfits they possess, go to a swinging club or party, only to then sit around all night discussing some banal episode of Coronation street, or what they're currently hoping to buy on , and the cost of salted butter in LIDL as opposed to Sainsbury's. I witnessed this last a few weeks ago on a non pleasurable night at a club in Kent. Lady dressed in stockings, suspenders, mini skirt, high heels. It was as if by putting on the clothes and going to a club was enough. Mind you, Hubby looked very fascinated and genuinely surprised by the price of butter., so clearly a marriage made in heaven. " How dare people enjoy the social side of swinging

"What are we supposed to talk about then? Proust? String Theory? I don't watch soaps, but I do like to chat with people. I don't just sit there with my mouth open waiting for the cock to be inserted. " nor do i actually, i dont watch any soaps so have no idea if people do talk about them, nor do i buy butter lol but if im at a club and people are just talking general stuff i will join in with 'normal' chat, i wouldnt walk off because they are boring for having a conversation that didnt involve sex

There can be sex talk...normally when you are around people you are comfortable with...i imagine if the op was standing sneering people may have been deliberately making non sexual small talk.

"No I think some of you fail to get the point of what I'm saying. Of course no one is a sex machine robot who walks in and immediately starts performing like some over XXX rated circus act. My point isn't that people shouldn't socialise and have a laugh before the action starts or doesn't . The point is that some people go to clubs just to sit talking nonsense. Sometimes quite loudly while people are having a naughty time. Which is a bit of a passion killer! Imagine getting into the mood and getting down and horny while you're hearing people who only go there to chat, talking about a load of rubbish which seems totally out of context with the surroundings and the attire they happen to be wearing. Not only is it very surreal- its enough to want to make you get some clothes on and head out of there as soon as you can. lol. " keep digging, you will be in china soon enough

I of course being a nice person , joined in the conversation, but really I'm not so desperate to network with people I had no chemistry with that I'd sit all night taking part in a mind numbingly boring conversation.

"I'm afraid you've drawn the wrong conclusion, so yes it is a funny old game. I was invited to join the discussion, and being a sociable type who communicated beyond grunting, I duly obliged. But I'm sharing an observation. And for the record -LIDL's do great popcorn. " dig dig dig. If people are talking about soaps when you do it, maybe you are dull and why should you regulate what people say. If they are enjoying the chat, then why stop to accommodate a foot stomping petulant man child

My point is that in a room where people are having sex- other people talking very loudly about absolute rubbish is not helping to keep the vibe sexy. There is a time and a place for everything. I'd suggest doing this type of chat in the kitchen, not the bedroom, lol.

I'm saying people who sit in the bedroom where others are having sex, talking very loudly about rubbing, which in turn kills the vibe. I'm also saying those people should move out of the bedroom and perhaps into a different room, like the kitchen or front room or wherever , because their topic of loud conversation is incompatible with a sexy ambience and generally off putting. Sorry , but I fail to see where the words toy and pram come into this. Just common and sense. And as for your profile saying you're a non judgemental type... I hope that's true.

People arent there to provide you with everything you want. If you cant accept that maybe dont go and go to one on one meets where you can dictate the conversation to the unlucky individual stuck listening to you Haha it was a misprint.. it is late after all. Of course with those inc your god self blessed with half an IQ I meant to say rubbish. YOu clearly failed to see the funny side of this, the ridiculous surreality of it all, and to make matters worse, you seem hell bent on slinging insults at someone you know very little about, and have never even met . If your life is so wanting that you take life so seriously, and only get joy from rubbishing someone because they've started a topic of conversation, on an internet chatroom then I suggest you get a hobby or do something useful because your days of being the Prized village idiot surely can't continue into 2012. oh the ironing, i guess your rapier wit has eluded me and all those who have mocked your self indulgent ranting. Wound up much son !" No Daddy nothing winds me up v much, lol. I'm just grateful to have a chilled intelligent daddy like you, lol

Not only is it very surreal- its enough to want to make you get some clothes on and head out of there as soon as you can. lol. " This isnt what your first post said...own your words at least... I find it hilarious the amount of couples/ ladies who go through the effort of getting their hair done, wearing the sexiest, skimpiest outfits they possess, go to a swinging club or party, only to then sit around all night discussing some banal episode of Coronation street, or what they're currently hoping to buy on ebay, and the cost of salted butter in LIDL as opposed to Sainsbury's. You mock those who want to talk, and suggest just going to socialise breaks some rule...many enjoy the dressing up, and do not go to clubs to fuck. You describe their conversation as banal.Simply because it did not interest you. Again, dressing up may have been enough, seems to me you assumed going in entitled you to something. At no point did you mention ppl talking whilst others played.

"Dear OP.... good god man, has no one taught you 'the code'? It's no wonder you didn't enjoy yourself. 'Butter' is code for 'taken roughly up the arse' 'Betty's hotpot' is code for a spitroast with added jizzers wanking at the sides. Now that's both original , and funny. Like it. x 'Eastenders' means 'I am gagging for oral' 'Hollyoaks' just means they think you're a bit of a prick."

" It's banal because its conversation out of context, not because I have no interest in saving money shopping at certain supermarkets. It just goes against the grain of what the general ambience is around them, and its as if they've been teleported into a room from say the kitchen and continue talking the same stuff without realising where they are and whats going on. To talk about such matters in a sex club where people are trying to be naughty and are being naughty just seems like a comedy moment, but off putting for those trying to get into the mood. Sorry if this wasn't fully explained in first post.

Sorry if this wasn't fully explained in first post. " What sex clubs are you going to? Because nearly all the ones I've been to have a social area. The playrooms are completely separate. So in the social area surely people can chat about what they want. Some people actually just go to swingers clubs to socialise. Shocking, I know! And if you struggle to get horny in a swinger club while surrounded by half naked people then just wander to the playrooms and get your mojo back. Simple! It really bugs me when people come on here and start dictating how others behave because they think they are the expert in swinging. Why should I be at the bar thinking 'oh best not chat about that interesting programme I saw on TV. I might offend someone!' I'm afraid it looks like you're the only one who is getting upset about this, so maybe the problem is yours.

"I'm afraid you've drawn the wrong conclusion, so yes it is a funny old game. I was invited to join the discussion, and being a sociable type who communicated beyond grunting, I duly obliged. But I'm sharing an observation. And for the record -LIDL's do great popcorn. dig dig dig. If people are talking about soaps when you do it, maybe you are dull and why should you regulate what people say. If they are enjoying the chat, then why stop to accommodate a foot stomping petulant man child You sound like a typical Daily mail reader. yes, the mail is the bastion of free speech and expression. I hope this isnt the level of wit and ignorance you exhibit at socials, if so i dont blame people yapping about soaps, beats chatting to the wee boy who threw his toys out of the pram Well it's funny how you're so quick to judge people, without knowing or meeting them, so I suggest that the mail is indeed the paper for you. If you took the time to read what I actually wrote rather than trying to read between the lines for things I haven't said, and generally wasn't such a reactionary hater I might actually like you. again you are asking people who are happy with their conversation to regulate their speech, because its affecting your experience. Two words, wah and wah You clearly can write, so I'm assuming you also have no problem reading normally. I hope that's true." Actually agree with this. There is a time and place for everything. And As much as people are entitled to talk about whatever, it is nice to spare a thought for those having fun around you and do the soap talk somewhere appropriate like the corridor or at the bar in a club and not in the very room that people are having sex. Come on ppl, we are human beings and we get turned on and off, and that would turn anyone off if they were at the receiving end of it.

"Well as the OP has expanded on his original post. People can go to clubs and sit in skimpy outfits and talk about whatever they like. There is no obligation to play with anyone. For some people its enough to wear something skimpy and chat all night. For some they may want to dress up and preen and flirt all night, for some its non stop sex. All is right. If in a club I do believe people should chat in the social areas. that's not to say no talking anywhere else, but it is offputting and rude to talk loudly about nonsense when people are playing. If its a play room then the main focus is sex. Use good manners to ensure others are not put off and go to a social area if you don't want to play. Similarly if its a social area but you decide to have sex, and it does happen, I've been sipping coffee at the bar at Chams and a woman was being spit roasted next to me, then expect to have conversation around you. Jacuzzis are a bit of both, used for chatting and sex. Difficult at a party in someones home as space is usually limited. I've found that people do sit and talk a lot at house parties but it usually takes one person to start stroking and kissing for others to fall into place. " Couldn't have put it better myself. Women are so articulate at getting these sort of things across than men. I am hoping everyone understands the OP now and we can all head towards the New Year without being at each other's throats??

We have been to parties and drawn a large crowd or just had people directly outside the open doorway talking about all sorts and it can be annoying and a bit of a mood killer. Yes, I have read all the OPs responses on here. Yes, my eyes are bleeding. But its all there - he's not just talking about private parties. " I think I've expanded and written loads enough for people to understand what i'm saying by now. Once and for all.. 1) I am not saying that people don't have the right to talk at clubs. 2)I am not saying that women should only open their mouths when a cock approaches. 3) I am not saying that people shouldn't discuss the goings on in East Enders. 4) I am not saying that I'm Billy no mates and no one wants to chat to me 5) I am saying there is a time and place for everything. 6) I am saying that time and place to discuss banalities isn't in a room where people are getting horny or trying to get horny. 7) I am saying move yourself to a place where people are not trying to get horny if you're just going to sit in a room all night talking rubbish and putting people off Lastly, and more controversially this post raises the prospect of negative stereotyping when it comes to a single guy posting on here. Subconsciously or otherwise, there is a hierarchy in swinging it seems, with the single guy at the bottom of the food chain, and all there is a danger in people jumping to assumptions that the single guy in this case me, is waling around aimlessly hoping to get a shag, and being frustrated cos people are having a chat, so i leave desperate and hungry, lol and have a rant about it on a chatroom. WRONG! It was a light hearted post summing up the surreality of being in a room with horny people, getting laid and the vibe being killed by people sat around talking nonsense very loudly seemingly unaware of their surroundings. Hope that puts this to bed and there aren't any more negative or nasty comments . Its the season of goodwill after all. x

I hate it when people chat in an orgy room when others are playing - that's inappropriate - but in social areas that's what you should do! I don't think it's conducive however to slag off people for their topic of conversation - move along if it's too banal for you! Its tantamount to cyber bullying and the people doing it are sad little fucks with a poor self esteem who derive pleasure in doing so. THis negativity is sadly catching. I'll say this again for the stupid and those who can't read well or poorly sighted.. IT WAS MEANT TO BE A LIGHT HEARTED LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENS SOMETIMES AT CLUBS OR MAYBE PARTIES PEOPLE TALKING LOUDLY ABOUT STUFF THAT CAN KILL THE VIBE! IT WAS NOT A RANT LOL ALL THOSE WHO TAKE THIS AND THEMSELVES SO SERIOUSLY LIGHTEN UP! LOL Own your words...stop whinning because you didnt get the agreement u wanted...basically. MUFF LOL for the record I played quite a few times so don't jump to conclusions.. and the person doing all the inappropriate talking I wouldn't touch with yours lol so no loss there lol x Who said you didnt play Nice touch of misogyny though...and last time i looked it i ddnt have one to touch anyone with There's nothing at all misogynistic about deciding that someone isn't attractive or there's no chemistry - or explaining that in the way I did, lol. I know we live in a Pc world, but lets not get too sensitive. In the same way that I wouldn't be a racist if I didn't fancy a lady who just happened to be chinese. x " its the childishness of the post, which shouldnt surprise by now, "i didnt like her anyway", if you heard it in the school yard you would raise an eyebrow and think, little boys will be little boys. At this point its a mare you are having, sometimes its best to keep your mouth shut and have the world think you a fool, then open it and remove all doubt.

" me? I talk about anything - just don't walk into a room where people are shagging , sit on a chair and talk about things very loudly that could put them off, lol. x" i owe you an apology.... I don't mindread... how did i not get that from "I find it hilarious the amount of couples/ ladies who go through the effort of getting their hair done, wearing the sexiest, skimpiest outfits they possess, go to a swinging club or party, only to then sit around all night discussing some banal episode of Coronation street, or what they're currently hoping to buy on ebay, and the cost of salted butter in LIDL as opposed to Sainsbury's. I witnessed this last a few weeks ago on a non pleasurable night at a club in Kent. Lady dressed in stockings, suspenders, mini skirt, high heels. It was as if by putting on the clothes and going to a club was enough. Mind you, Hubby looked very fascinated and genuinely surprised by the price of butter., so clearly a marriage made in heaven." my god... its staring me in the face and I never saw it... thank you for putting me right!!!!!!

"Did the op think she should not be chating but shagging him as she was dressed for sex , lol " Yep - I think you encapsulated that very well! You see loads of people - couples as well as singles just not mingling at parties or in clubs, can't for the life of me understand that! Z

"I'm with you here, I wouldn't want to go out all dressed to the nines and chat about some incredibly dull tv programmes, that's not that I want to discuss sex but there are a whole lot more interesting things to talk about than ultra boring soaps and the cost of butter. But then I'm not a fan of soaps so would be totally pointless discussing them with me around " Thank you K. At last some sanity. Seasons Greetings xx
