If we were worried we were going to bump into someone after it's unlikely we would meet them in the first place.
It wouldn't bother us but we have had people have second thoughts in the past |

You see, if someone lived close to us it wouldn't overly bother us,on the other hand if they said " as soon as the meet is over i dont or wont spk to you unless on fabs" then we wouldn't meet them,
Actually that would apply if they lived miles away too |

I've had a meet with a girl who lives very close to me. Was very convenient at the time but now really wish I hadn't. Wasn't the greatest meet with very little attraction. I knew from the start I should have made my excuses and left but I'm too nice a guy lol.Now I keep bumping into her everywhere!!!! Had to stand just behind her in the chippy a few weeks back and felt so uncomfortable. I prefer to keep my 'fab world' seperate from my real world. Wont be meeting any very locals anymore lol. |

That sounds really awkward. It can be quite stressful bumping into someone and having to explain , if you're with a new girlfriend or family who that person was. Sometimes I think its best to meet people from further afield, even though nearer ones are handy for last minute get togethers. |

Yeah it was uncomfortable. Was such a crappy meet and it was obvious neither of us was enjoying it lol. Only myself to blame though as I knew it was likely our paths would cross at some point. Luckily I have always been on my own when I have seen her so I havn't had to explain how I know her. I'm sure she's equally as embarassed by me lol!!!!

When I first started meeting on here, I wouldn't meet anyone too local to me, just in case we knew each other. But one day I met someone from 20 miles away, when I opened the door we knew each other (played football in the same team)! He said he'd left his phone in the car (eh?), and I just shut the door. Knew he wasn't coming back! lol. Now I meet people from anywhere. It's a MAD (mutually assured discretion) scenario with M-M meets, you wouldn't acknowledge anyone in public, so it doesn't matter if they live local or not. |

I live in a small town but know very few people so meeting local people doesn't really bother me...we've even gone REALLY local and met people in our village...however, I would never meet anyone from close to where I work...it would be too difficult to encounter them in a professional capacity...  |

not for me, i have kids and while im out shopping with them i dont want guys ive met off here coming over and talking to me

i work with someone, who, with his wife wanted to start playing. we had a couple social meet at our houses. we took them to chams......the understanding right from the start was that we would never play......that way we can stay friends and not have any awkwardness.
