I lived until recently in Australia for 10 years. It's common place to see regular people walking round the supermarkets or driving their cars barefoot lol.
Something I never got used to seeing. |

It is a nice feeling to walk barefoot on grass or a sandy beach but,having once stepped on broken glass and another time,on a wasp,Id be very wary of walking barefoot just anywhere. |

Aft3r standing on a nail and it going through a work boot, I certainly won't walk barefoot in public.
I wear old trainers when going into the sea, don't fancy cutting my foot on something I can't see. |
