I think asking for a non boring first message is a bit of a cheek. Not every man is blessed with the skills of Shakespeare.
Just "hi, I'm Pierce Brosnan. Please have a look at the pictures of me in levis with the top button undone, bare feet and a white shirt unbuttoned and let me know if you feel we're compatible" would do for me  |

I prefer boring first messages
Check if they are my cup of tea
If yes reply
If no ignore/delete
Sometimes I end up chatting to people is never meet because they've written a long message and I feel bad ignoring

A good profile is really important. But a first message needs to catch people's attention.
I would suggest that you read the ladies profile and then refer to it. It is good if people think you are interested in meeting them, not that you send the same message to 100 ladies who live within 30 miles of you.
Make it personal, fun and interesting . |

It all starts with the subject header i feel, some inboxs are bursting full so your header needs to jump out so your message gets opened then.......Now that would be telling  |

Why bother at all with anything then ? All this malarkey is about timing surely . Just like life being in the right place at the right time . Your best chance in here is if you suffer with insomnia and are loitering around the search button at 3 in the morning ... then your chance of a response ,,,, ugly or not is significantly higher |

100% agree! Actually chatting about something interesting in their profile let’s them know you have taken the time to read it and stops you having to do the just Hi message. |

Something that shows you have read the profile is always a good start. We get it that the testosterone is raging and most guys are going to keep messaging every profile that has a woman on it until they get a reply. But the guys that are clearly interested in me and have spotted something that grabs their attention are more likely to get a reply.
No good having a profile in Soctland and just messaging 'Hi There' I'm just going to assume you haven't read the profile and hit delete. However if you just take a moment to tell us you are visiting where we are.

100% agree! Actually chatting about something interesting in their profile let’s them know you have taken the time to read it and stops you having to do the just Hi message. "
Everyone likes to think it's personal and you have tailored your message just for them... read the profile and write your pm focused on what they want.. don't lie though that's naughty  |

yep. I can't wear things like that I'm not tall enough and they make me look as if I have a massive bum so I always notice when someone else looks lovely in them |

Also sometimes I ignore simply because I don't have any time in the near future or Iv got meets planned
Unless I actually block I maybe interested just not that week/month
I feel bad getting into conversation if I can't meet for a month or more |

Read peoples profiles and use your imagination to come up with something interesting. You could just avoid those asking for an interesting first message though that might make more seance if you can't be interesting on your own account. |
