For me,
love = you miss that person when he/she's not there (by miss, I mean you miss the company, the sex, that person's smile, that person's quirks). Not easy to replace.
lust = you miss the sex. Can be replaced by an equally (or more) hot person.
Mind you, sometimes it's a bit grey. You can definitely lust for someone you also love. While the reverse is not usually true, I have deep feelings for many of my lovers. |

Lust was what I felt when I met P in a club throwing some shapes and love was what I felt when she took a trip back home a month or so later and I realised how much I missed her presence in my life. |

Love is deeply emotional. It's wanting someone's heart, and actively choosing every day to continue loving them and staying with them.
Lust is deeply physical. It's wanting someone's body, and it tends to be fickle and fade with successive rejections or non availability of said target of lust.

Love is something that isn’t x at the end of a text or any other action you do. It’s magic.
Love unfortunately is a word over used, misused and believed to be something they can own or create, for many they think they have but only when they really have will they know. |
