The people who message saying they read all your profile and feel you are perfectly matched, when clearly they haven't read your profile at all, as they are 200 miles away (and not even pretending to be closer), have nothing but cock pics to show, are out of your age range and also are married when you have asked specifically to stay away from those without permission to play outside.
Usually I can't see one thing we have even possibly in common and yet they think the stars are aligned for us to jump into bed together within the next day, even though I don't do that either.
I do just move on to the next message, but I just wonder what they are thinking. I facepalm so often on here that I'm going to get a permanent forehead bruise.

Please note, in my forum post I am not asking for profile advice. It was intended to be a little rant, not criticism of my profile, which I am happy with, and I am fine with other people not bothering to read, I just wish they wouldn't message me if they don't want to read about me first and use the details I feel I have put in there to save them and myself time.
I know it's a long profile and that's why I did put in the beginning but if people find it too long then to have a great time on fab and skip to the next profile.
I realise that I truly am not for everybody and I'm completely ok with that.
Plus I have also divided into a shorter bit and then for people who want to know more more details. |

and I would add that if they do not read your full profile or wish to read your full profile then why would you want to meet them in the first place.
Regardless of how long a profile is, if a person CBA to read it all then they don't deserve to even be considered for a meet with the OP. |

The people you refer to don't read at all, hence their unsuitability. A regular response of mine is "if you had taken the trouble to read my profile, you would see that...." I think having a long profile is a good filter in some ways, but frustrating in others! |

Partly I think more than a few guys take a scattergun approach to messaging simply because the ratios on fab are so skewed and the response rates are so low. So they figure the best chance of success is to blitz as many profiles as possible as quickly as possible. |

Personally, I take my time to read a profile first.
If I write a message in the hope of it going somewhere I will have looked to see if I am close to what they are after and, if it’s practical. My messages are always polite, and do not include cock pics!
Occasionally I have sent a complimentary message to a lady whose profile caught my eye, when I am not what they’re looking for or, as is often the case, they are the other side or end of the country. I expect nothing from those messages and they are sent genuinely.
Regardless, if a message is Read by the recipient, that’s a win. If they look at my profile, bonus. If I get a reply (a polite no thanks shouldn’t cause anyone a problem) then happy days. You get the idea...
