Is there any way to block someone without them realising that they have been blocked. Like maybe they would think you've left the site or they just can't your profile etc?
If there isn't a really would like this option. Sometimes I want to block someone just because their messages are a little bit tiresome, and I'm not looking to chat, but I don't want to be overly rude or just hit them straight with a block, I'd rather end the conversation and then a day or two later block them.
I realise if they use the forums, and click on my profile they would see they are blocked, and that can't be helped. But apart from the forumites I just wondered if there was a way to block without shoving it in their face. |

When they click on your profile it will say something like "you are unable to view this profile. The user may have blocked you, you may have blocked them or admin may have suspended them".
I have to ask what the point of blocking somebody is if you don't want them to know? Its the only way to stop contact. |

Just block them if they are searching for you then they won't find you and besides if they are intent on looking at your profile they will just put up a new profile anyway. |

People will just put up another profile as said so you can never block someone if they are determined enough for you not to do so. |
