Guys are you afraid to compliment in the forums?

I have noticed if a guy compliments or consoles a woman in the forums he gets accused of being a white knight in shining armour.
Guys does that stop you being nice to women in the forums? Are you afraid of being called a white knight? |

I don’t think we’ve ever complimented a woman on the forums . We may have flirted with the odd guy , but never a woman .
I think that’s because they get so much attention on here anyway and probably use the forums as a break from the constant compliments they get . |

I do think about what I post. If a woman is in distress for examples she says I am ugly and you disagree with her and tell her she is beautiful you are bound to be called a white knight. |

White knighting is more about supporting a comment on the forum not really about compliments, or at least that’s my understanding of the phrase.
I receive compliments privately usually and will also give them. Maybe we should remember that the kiss, fuck, avoid posts can be hurtful to some as well as being complimentary to others. |

When a man comes to woman's aid on the forums he will get accused of being the white knight in shining armour.
What they really mean is the guy is only being nice to the woman on the forum in the hope he can shag her. |

I will compliment if it's appropriate, but I'm more likely to message. I couldn't give a toss what other people think though. Men only fall into the two categories of white knight or arsehole on her anyway, and that can change by the thread... |

A huge amount, if not most, of the complimenting is off topic on the threads it appears on.
Don't really think it's white knighting, other than the obvious one - the difference in attitude and response in (most) posts to women looking to play away on Fab, compared to men in the same situation. |

I agree with this. The randomness of it sometimes feels a bit awkward and it stands out more because it is off topic.
Most of it is just a bit of a giggle not to be taken seriously I’m sure. |

Not here, I find the forums an easy way to interact and if any person deserves a compliment or needs a virtual cuddle then I say so. You don't know how much it might mean to someone. I care not if someone then calls me a white night. I do however, watch out for people fishing for compliments  |

I couldn’t give a flying fuck what people call me, I just speak my mind. Sometimes people think I’m a prick andither times a white knight. I really don’t care either way. |
