I don’t mind other people calling me it but if my mr does I get offended is this odd? I think it’s cos I care what he thinks but I don’t if other people. Am I odd?

It depends how its used by whom its used and in what context as with many words out of the blue or from a stranger it can be disrespectful too. There are better words to use though out there.
