Where are all the big muscular fitties on here? (Male and female). There’s tons of threads about appreciating curvy and fuller figures, which is great.

So this one is for the muscle.

Don’t be shy

I'm a BBW, but I lift weights. It's not really visible in my pictures yet, but I'm starting to notice myself firm up and get definition. (I don't do it for this reason, but the eye candy in my gym is rather nice too!)

That bench pb isn't bad at all. I know loads of guys who couldn't lift that. So hard off to you.

I'm currently stuck on 55kg on dumbel press. I don't do bench as it hurts my shoulder and isn't worth the pain . If i can start to eat properly then my aim is 60kg on dumbell press. I'll be happy then

I fell on my shoulder playing football a few years back and since then only bench press agrivates it,and can't do dead lifts as i tore the largest muscle in my back about a year ago and they said if that goes again then sport and gym wise, that could be it for me. I couldn't walk for 4 months and that almost killed me. I can't come back from that again i don't think.

Stopped going to the gym completely. Started drinking alcohol regularly (he ran a pub and I moved in with him). Oh and then developed a full fat addiction lol.

Left middle of August and changed diet and exercise severely.

When I met ex my weight was 12 stone and bmi around 26.

When I left I weighed 16 stone and bmi was edging 40.

Down to 14 stone 3 now.

Body fat has dropped over 7%.

That's a massive jump. Did you just fall out of the gym or something?

Well done. That's some going and not easy at all. Last time i did mine my bmi was 24.

Stopped going to the gym completely. Started drinking alcohol regularly (he ran a pub and I moved in with him). Oh and then developed a full fat addiction lol.

Left middle of August and changed diet and exercise severely.

I’m more about body fat than BMI tbh. As long as it keeps dropping I’m happy. Xx"

Bloody hell. The fact you stopped for so long and then have got back into, and done so well is testament to your mentality. That'd impressive indeed . Think that was a bad idea looking back Haha .

Sounds like you've got it licked sweet. Keep up the good work and let me know when you hit your target

I love strong men and women. So beautiful to look at.

Particularly the ladies because it’s so much harder to achieve, between our lower levels of testosterone and naturally higher body fat.

"Not bodybuilder or powerlifter...do weights to try stay in some sort of shape and for work..

You have some broad ass shoulders!. Amazing what tabbing with a backpack does for your shoulders lol..but the weights defo help..stick to compound moves mostly..bench press ..barbell rows..military press and squat / deadlift..

Oh is that the secret . I can't do bench press or dead lifts though . That's probably why it's taking tiiiiiime for my shoulders to really come through

Out of curiosity, how come your not able to bench or deadlift??

I fell on my shoulder playing football a few years back and since then only bench press agrivates it,and can't do dead lifts as i tore the largest muscle in my back about a year ago and they said if that goes again then sport and gym wise, that could be it for me. I couldn't walk for 4 months and that almost killed me. I can't come back from that again i don't think.

That’s a shame but with the right rehab you could come back stronger. I know loads of people that have been told they won’t lift again and now there are.

Hope you manage to get it sorted

Mr x

Yeah. Physio and that went really well thanks, but because those things still cause pain,i just don't do them anymore. Everything else is fine when i'm training now. "

Then you’ll always have a weakness there!! I always focus on my weaknesses in the gym as your only s strong as the weakest link

Of course. That's true sweet. Because i don't do them Lol,plus they serve little purpose to my overall fitness or what i want to achieve,so i'm okay with not being able to do them. If it means i can train 100% on everything except 2 exercises then that's a sacrifice worth taking in my book. Plus I play football too so i need to careful

As you are using dumbbells the bench is of little use to you , however I would recommend deadlift , you don't need , certainly should not be using heavy weight, but avoiding strengthening an injured body part leads to , muscle imbalance, the muscle becomes weaker and MORE prone to injury , and less mobility

Done correctly your light weight deadlift should promote a strong core and stable back , a good lift is actually isometric for the back leaving a stable spine , your glutes are your prime movers and it would be a shame not to work them and your lats in such an inclusive exercise

However just use a light kettle bell and lift slow , low reps low sets , just going slowly through the motions mentally feeling your muscles is better than exclusion xxx

Thanks for the advice. My friend who's a physio has told me all about what you've just said. And he has told me what to do. I didn't mean i don't deadlift at all. I just don't do it with the bar . Plus my uncle for a pro body builder so i have the best of both professional worlds. Thanks again

You should know better than be intimidated by female bodybuilders. Of course lots of women don't like it on guys either.

Well i don't know who is and isn't on steroids. I just don't like the bulky hard look. I like my woman with curves is all i'm saying.

Why would i be intimidated?. It's not a competition lol.

Yeah. Physio and that went really well thanks, but because those things still cause pain,i just don't do them anymore. Everything else is fine when i'm training now. "

I had a solar shoulder injury, I only bench press every few months for exactly that reason, not worth the pain, it's frustrating when I can overhead press over 200 and Bench press stuck at 140.

Biy find at the moment I'm making better progress less weights and more reps. Not as much fun and so much harder work though.

If you weigh a 1lb of muscle and 1lb of fat they weigh the same The volume that fat takes up is more, this could confuse people, same as you can't turn fat into muscle they are two different things

I assume your on about Lbs not kgs!?!?"

I'm on about kgs

Leg day yesterday... I had to come down the stairs on my bum this morning.

Not good when you wake bursting for the loo, and it's downstairs

I need to hide a lot of my normal pics as an ex who still works where I am a manger knows about this as we did when we were together. She always said if she saw me on here then all work would know. So basic pics and basic profile for a bit till it all dies down. Xx

Have had a fantasy of being with a fbb for many years, never once met one though to even contemplate playing with them, think it’s one fantasy that will forever remain unfulfilled.

I think stupid is unfair

I've always aimed for strong in proportion athletically agile x but I would not call larger guy stupid

Sometimes obsession , the devil catches you

This year just because I could I dropped to less than 7 percent fat for the summer

I've added a little since then but like both looks and the journey
