I love being single but miss having someone to cuddle up in bed with, and biggest problem of all there’s no one to fasten my lingerie for me when I’m trying to get ready to go out! |

I'm glad I'm moving on with my life and looking for love. If I found it tomorrow I'd fall into her arms in a heart beat. I'm not one of those guys who freak out at the idea of entwining my life with a woman's. At the moment I'm a bit like a plant that's left its pot. My roots are yearning to find a new place to call home. But that doesn't mean I'm desperate or a bunny boiler. I merely ache that's all. I'm quite happy having fun sexy female friendships until I find "it" again   |

Both have their advantages and disadvantages.
I'm recently single following a long term relationship breakdown. As much as I am enjoying the freedom to be 'me' and social again, I do miss the companionship.
I'm not adverse to staying single but would miss things about being a couple, even if it was a more open relationship like MrsSB's |

Me, it's fantastic. No one else to be accountable to, no one else with a say in how I spend my limited free time, only have myself to clean up after and don't have two sets of family birthdays to worry about! |

It has it's pros and cons. Been single for 2 year. Pro is I can pretty much do what I want, decorate the way I want, once the bills are paid i can spend my.money on what I want. Cons.....I struggle to sleep in my bed and often sleep on the couch. I miss the cuddles and the spooning and the adult conversations. And obv the sex on tap. |

Happier being single than in a loveless marriage but would love to be in a relationship again...become very fussy who'll I'll let get close enough for that to happen though  |

I like being single. I'm not alone though as I do have kids. I just like not having to answer to man. I enjoy my own company. I came to fab to hopefully meet some who understands I don't want a relationship. I want just want sex . Good sex at that. Someone to help me explore more. |

It's great having your own space and time to do what you like but we all want a bit of company every now and again. If someone nice came along i think we'd all like to spend a bit of time with them. |

Honestly? No, I don't like being single.
I've been in this single swinging lifestyle since I was 17. I've had quite enough experiences and stories to tick off 90% of my bucket list for sexual stuff I'd like to do in my entire life. Right now I'm more inclined to want to settle down and commit with someone who's worth it and go into a relationship. All through my personal and swinging life it's always been a matter of me placing the desires and enjoyment of others above my own.
For once I want that to change. For once I want to have myself as a priority, to not feel guilty about wanting someone all to myself and not share with anyone else in terms of sex stuff. I want a partner in life that would have my back as I'd have hers, and just live a happy quiet attached life with her.
Fun and games is all well and good. Until you get sick of it all and see how temporal it can be. |

noI don't like it but having been on and off the swinging scene for quite sometime now I think I am broken in terms of dating. I have not dated since I married and that was 20 years ago. I would love to have someone in my life who wanted to be with me other than for my body but I'm clueless at reading the signals. Therefore I will probably remain single by default  |

Love it and despise it in equal measure.
I miss saying and hearing “I love you” from someone other than family and friends. I miss knowing that there is someone there that matches me so perfectly.
But I do love my independence and I’m proud of me for making a great job of being a happy single.

Its okay .. been divorced a long time and being brutally honest I have big trust issues with women now . I guess having been shat on before and had my life totally destroyed I’m not willing to sit under another one to get the same treatment happen again .
Shame really as did enjoy being ‘ with’ someone and had a good life till it broke ., It is going to take a very very special lady to be what Im looking for / fix all that mess unfortunately :/

It suits me being single and its better for others that i remain so as i am not the easiest of people to live with.
Company is nice every now and then as life can get lonely.
I know a lot of married / attached folk and often there is little there between them and i think they stay together because thats all they know and they are scared to part ways for a multitude of reasons, having to leave a comfortable home and start again with only half of what they have is a big factor. |

In all honesty, it depends on the day you ask me. Sometimes I love It and other times i miss the intimacy exponentially. I don't think I'm relationship material though. I'm too quick to press the 'self destruct' button, when people get too close. |

Wow, part of me is relieved I'm not the only one who dislikes being single but struggles making relationships work.
I date here and there but just haven't found any one compatible yet. Last decent relationship i had was a good 8 years ago now and that only lasted around 4 months which was good for me.
I do like the independence of being single but it does mean many lonely nights watching friends lives accelerate off into the distance. |

I was happily single for many, many years following a divorce. I actively disliked the idea of sharing my life, my home, my space with another woman.
Then I met my now wife. It all changed in a weekend.

I enjoy being single but it is nice to share experiences with someone.
I struggle to maintain my own emotional well-being enough. Everyone is different though and that's what makes life interesting... |
