Pretty pissed off. Arranged a meet tonight, drive an hour to get there and seriously disappointed. Her profile photos must be ten years and several stone out of date. Was a complete turn off and a disaster.
I’ve had this a few times from POF etc too. Don’t know why people can’t accept who they are.  |

Perhaps they do accept who they are
Perhaps they are so bothered by it that they use photos of themselves in their better days
Perhaps they were hoping you would see past their current appearance and see them for the person they are
Maybe she was disappointed by you too ?
Either way, posting about it here is insensitive at best
As an older guy, I'd have thought you would have the sensitivity to live with a situation that was, after all, partly created by you
It was you who drove to her without arranging a cam session first, without arranging a social and without doing enough leg work to unravel the old pic issue.
Having old pics is disingenuous, but you are partly to blame for your crap meet. |

Think it’s happened to most of us. I get really frustrated by that too.
It wastes time, energy, expense that could have been put to better use elsewhere.
Most people will display the most flattering photos, so I set my expectations accordingly.
When the pics are a huge departure from the reality, it’s lying. And being lied to/deceived isn’t nice for anyone.

There is webcam,kik,WhatsApp video call etc that you can see eachother face to face,chat and get a connection before a meet,which would avoid these situations
Personally I only meet private with guys I've already had a practice run with at a party,so they know I'm several stone in date  |

Unfortunately it happens and although you were up set it's best to take a step back and reflect before posting here.
Like a few have stated social first or even a Skype chat before jumping into something you might not enjoy.
Good luck in the future don't let it taint your future enjoyment. |
