Terrible Messages

Right, so we know the score about naming and shaming, but whats the deal with the terrible messages that some send, are we allowed to share snippets or even the whole message on the forum?

Some are just so bad that they are funny, and having recently replied to such a message correcting typos, grammar and trying to get the sender to address his approach, I (Mr) wonder if the forum might beneoft from some shared humour over terribke messages rather than just berraying the fact that people send them in the first place.

Making a negative a positive and all that?

What do people think?

Some people struggle with spelling some struggled at school and you have to make allowances to some extent after all nobody is perfect and just because they can't spell dosn't make them a bad person or an object of ridicule. If someone is trying hard and making an effort I tend to say good on them.

Sometimes I get a message so awful/abusive/funny I wish I could share it with someone. But all you can do is report and block if it’s abusive. Otherwise, have a laugh with your partner

Also don’t forget the ‘after a drink’ response, and tiny letters on a phone combined with big fingers

And I absolutely agree, however, some of the content is so terrible, the badly written just adds to it.

I’m not trying to ridicule those that struggle with spelling and grammar, and shouldn’t have led with that, but the content of a recent message was so bad that the sender needed pulling up on whether they thought it acceptable to send.

I was simply trying to share a giggle at the terrible rather than ridicule some.

I’ll report this thread now, sorry

Methinks perhaps you're not the right person to correct anyone's typo's!

If thats so what does" I (Mr) wonder if the forum might beneoft from some shared humour over terribke messages" mean to me that reads.

It would be good to post terrible messages on here and all laugh at them now if that's not ridiculing then I don't know what is.

The fact is some people struggle for one reason or another and that's just sad as I see it but I wouldn't laugh at them as I wouldn't point at a fat person in the street its just not a nice thing to do.
