It seems to be the trend now to have to Sydney university paragraph at the bottom of the profile for most new and a lot of existing profiles. Why do people have it I can't see what good it does apart from use up bandwidth. Some we have seem have about 2 lines about themselves and war and peace at the bottom to Sydney university. Before I get a ear it doesn't bother me and I know people can put what they want on profiles but just wanted to know what other people thought ? |

I dont get it either
if someone wants to cope your profile or lift you pics, use any information on there at all, having that at the bottom of your profile will not stop them |

The entire paragraph means sweet fuck all. I think a lot of people joining see it on existing profiles and think "Shit, there must be that many people with that on their profiles for good reason. Sydney university are therefore a bunch of pic stealing swines who probably have entire degree courses dedicated to analysing the daily boot-knockings of fuck-loving brits." So they slap it on their own profile, and the myth goes on.

Firstly admin request people dont put it,it takes up pointless space.
It was started many years ago as an internet experiment to see how long it took something to become a meme.Would people put something without any knowledge of its accuracy or veracity just because others have?
Its a handy filter for me....avoid any but the newest of newbies with it |

It is just a meme but it does have some relation to reality.
There used to be a guy on here called Sid College who was a right perve and used to collect everyone's pictures.
He was eventually banned but his legend lives on although over time his name has changed to Sydney University. |

If you read the FAQ (link at the bottom of each page) it will tell you that it is pointless and nonesense and takes up room on your profile page.
