London

So I've always been meaning to try this out but have never had the chance to go. Was thinking to attend for the Nov 2 event in London. Has anyone ever been to Torture Gardens and what ticket do you tend to get as there are different entry times?

I know it's a kinky fetish event so trying to get my outfit sorted

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

I went with someone I had only met a few months ago at a festival. She was curious rather than adventurous and just wanted to be able to say that she had been and to tick the box. I was pretty much in the same boat but maybe a bit more open to be more adventurous. Personally I thought it was a bit boring unless you really get involved. The performances were ok, a bit of a mixed bag. The music was good in my view but not many people were actually properly dancing. I think most of the people just liked dressing up and looking good which is one of the reasons people do attend. The play area was full of couples and towards around 1 or 2am people do begin to come out of their shell a little. By 3am my friend had ditched me. Despite standing on the dance floor like a lemon i was approached by a pretty girl who offered to suck me off on the dance floor so all was not lost.

So my take away is that people go for different reasons. Dressing up, posing, little bit of kink, exhibitionism, dancing and lastly play. So a bit of everything but it didn't feel like any particular aspect was prominent apart from the dressing up of course. I think like with most things, the more you put in the more you get out from any experience. If you go with someone who is prepared to immerse themselves then you will probably have a good time. My date was a bit timid so I wasn't really sure what was the best way to entertain her. I would go again but would make sure I didn't need to feel like I was babysitting someone and try to get involved a lot more. Hope you have fun when you attend OP. Give us a report back.

Oh and we chose to go early as it was freezing queueing in winter in our outfits.

Halloween event is ok but can be full of tourists and posers! Wife and I have been to three Halloween events and found them fun but too full, even at the coroner.

It's not solely a play club but a club night with play if you want it in the couples room, though it does spill out into the other rooms as time goes on.

I prefer the nights at Elektrowerks, less touristy and more real fetish nights.

Go anyway, you will have a brilliant night out wth some friendly people into fetish

Very good observation. It is, however, like any other fetish night. You get what you want from it... depends on your inhibitions..

Myself and miss kink will be at this one this year... looking forward to it...

Brighton

We are heading to this one on Friday too.

Really looking forward to trying a new venue for it.

From our experience you need a big club with space and also lots of little rooms and cubby holes for this sort of thing to work! We always like to explore and see what we can see.

Agree with other posts in that it can be a bit poser-y, but also, that is half the fun as there’s a lot of people watching to be had and checking out costumes and outfits is great.

The main thing for us is that we always find the crowd very VERY friendly, fun and open minded. Not everyone is there to swing, and not everyone is there for S&M but there is curiosity and cross-over of the two.

We have heard that there isn’t a couples room at this one, which is disappointing but also, we always find the couples room impossible to get into as it’s always full and there’s a huge queue.

Anyone else going on Friday?

We are heading along. Can't wait.

we also noticed the No couples room too. Might be due to the type of venue. As it is a tv/movie studio space there may be stipulation on space use.

Hell we need photo I'd just to get in the venue!
