If you had a friend who was on here, and you thought that you have seen a profile of tbeir 18 year old child, do you just block it or do you feel you need to let them know.
Personally I feel blocking it is enough as they are over age, but I just would hate them to end up messaging each other although to be fair, none of that is really my concern.
I guess I just need a few opinions as to whether I'm doing the right thing by just blocking and forgetting. |

It would depend on how openly they speak, if you feel the need to get involved maybe give a nudge to either the parents or the 18 year old and let them know so they can decide for themselves, if you think it’ll cause animosity it’s probably better to steer clear and block them all though |

This happened to me....I went to read a post in the forum and realised with horror that the question was being asked my best friend’s daughter and her (much older) partner. I blocked the profile immediately but was torn about telling my friend because her daughter had a history of self harm. I decided against it in the end so as not to open a can of worms and potentially lose a friend, but I did worry for a while afterwards... |

An 18yr old is not a child.
If it was us, we'd stay well away but it's their choice to be on here so ultimately up to them.
Sounds like a potentially messy one to get involved with though. |

There is absolutely no way this will end well if you get involved. Block and forget - and truly do try and forget.

Are you 100% sure the profile is genuine and not set up by someone either as revenge porn or for other nefarious reason?
The first instinct is to block. If you feel you can preserve your anonimity and can establish itmd it really them, you can block later.
As far as telling your friend,.wait until you are sure before making a decision. |

100% agree with all others, stay out of it and dont do what you think is the right thing as it will defo be the wrong thing..
The blocking though, is there maybe a little bit of you not wanting to be "Id'd" at all by her too? Just curious.. |

At the end of the day she's not a child, she can drink, smoke, vote, join the army and shag whoever she wants. Now they are 27 and 28 I am very happy with my kids choices of partners and enjoy meeting them. However that wasn't always the case with regards to my son, however he was over 18 at the time so you have to leave it up to them. The other question you have to ask yourself is at what age was it when you beacame old enough to decide that you wanted go on a swingers website. |
