The nearest club is 20 miles away so it's quite a simple choice for me. I've never met anyone I know in one but have met people from the same small town as me who I didn't know, if that makes sense. |

I couldn't give a fuck how close it is to home.
I went to Malia on holiday aged 19 and whilst in a restaurant bumped into a friend I'd not seen since primary school.
Doesn't matter where you are, you always run the risk of seeing someone you know. |

I get that tbh I used to be quite well known on the (night)clubbing scene so was recognised literally wherever I went! (Thankfully not so much these days) so get that you may always bump in to someone I suppose

We generally play away because locally (Suffolk) there's very little. However, there are parties we go to in the next village and our attitude is that if we meet anyone we know, well they're here for the same reason! We couldn't care less. |

A bloke I worked with had a similar thing, but he was at Alice springs Australia. |

I regularly attend a club that's just a few miles from my house. I have met a couple whose child was in my sons class, and a local business man over the years.
A smile and a knowing nod was exchanged. I wasn't embarrassed at all. We were all there for the same reason. I have also bumped into people I know at a club over 100 mile from home.
Best option is to go to your favourite, and not worry about who might turn up. |

I bump into people I know all the time. The first time in chameleons it was a woman who knew my brother and recognised me.
Then in xtasia I met a work colleague and to to it off the owner said she recognised me a knee my sister.
It's not like anyone will say oh I met so and so in a swingers club the other night.
A work colleague did find my profile on here and showed everyone at work. That was awkward. |

Travailing a little bit out of my area is a far better alternative in my opinion and suits me better but I know some people who are very close to clubs they play in. |
