Hi all after your opinions.
Got speaking to a lovely lady.
We been talking for a few weeks now and arranged to meet just for a social.
Yet i was waiting around but never turned up.
Is it just me this happens to or does it happen to everybody else? |

Yep I arranged a social and turned up, I text her when she was 15 mins late and she said she was on her way. This carried on for an hour after which I left, 80 mile round trip and she got nasty when I called her a timewaster. |

Its shocking. Im not usually the type to name and shame as i respect people but surely she should be polite and just say changed my mind.
Im a confidence person but this has dented me further.

It is i hate timewasters. There is a lot of honest people around and some not so.

Don't let it dent your confidence. It's not personal, she might have got cold feet, changed her mind or might not even have been a woman.

I agree with nicecouple don’t let it get you down just be a bit more cautious. I certainly wouldn’t do it to anyone it’s just disrespectful. I’d rather meet and they tell me I’m not for them than have them make me look like an idiot for waiting about. |

Person has now been reported to admin. It does dent my confidence as i know im not the greatest looking guy here. Wonder if thats the issue |

I'm sorry to hear this. It's happened to a lot on here, I would imagine. Me being one of them. I wouldn't name and shame Though, it can get you into trouble. Try not to let it dent your confidence. It was rude of her. It's not on you at all. If you arranged the social within fab (with messages as proof), you can report the profile. Chin up OP. |

I didn't know you could report no shows to admin!
Quite a few years ago I had a guy so this to me. But put it down to a no show and moved on. I did feel more annoyed at myself. |

If it's happening to you often..change your selection process.
If this is the first time see if there were any red flags, try and add more checks and balances to hour process so it doesn't happen again.
And just for balance if this had been a single lady posting..someonew woulds have said..

It's a shame , some just like the chase you chat get to the point of arranging a meet then boom they either come out with the crap excuses come out or completely disappear .
Then i suppose move on to the next person and do all over again

So far so good for us but I'm sure it will happen at some point, just block and move on.
No point stressing about it, had loads that talk the talk but as soon as you mention meets they disappear but again why stress.

In our experience, no shows or last minot cancels happen more often than not on fabs. Luckily most of our meets are at clubs so it is just annoying more than anything else. No idea if the reports get actioned, never had a response from admin to any posts, reports or questions. |

Glad it's not just me then. Had 4 women, who were the ones to suggest we meet up, to then go and either stand me up or send cancellation message an hour before we were supposed to meet. So frustrating, 1 lady was so "up for fun" and talked the talk, that I pre-paid for toll fees to go meet her. Then she blanked me when I messaged to make sure all was still on. There's £4 I'll never get back. Its so frustrating and off putting. |

Wow! I honestly cannot believe someone would not meet up with you if it was all arranged! If you were in Liverpool (and pitied me enough to meet for some fun and games) I would move heaven and earth to make sure I was there and was lucky enough to spend time with a woman who is as beautiful and sexy as you.
