I think I have become a serial profile changer, I am mildly concerned......
How often do other people change their profiles? With me it seems to be once a week lol, and thats not because I am "unsuccessful" its just that I look at each one I write and think "thats not me" and then type another one, but a week later I am thinking "thats not me either!" and then I start again, is there a help group for people like me? |

I just added a bit to ours this week because I got some veris from people just I have met at chams dont want people going on war path as only veris 1 half of couple  |

We never change ours, had the same one since we started. My OH did add an update but apart from that we leave it.
I'm not hung up on trying to add every little like and dislike, well I don't have anything negative,, would never have a long list of do's and do nots.
I don't see the point of people constantly closing down their profiles to open up a new one a week later with different usernames etc, and using the same pics.
But its up to the individual how they operate their profile. I do constantly update pics, so I suppose some people may wonder why. And if people wish to add more about themselves then its their business. |

I, like you, have never understood the closing down of accounts, I have been on the same one since I started, but well, yes the text changes alot, but I am seeking a group to assist me in getting over this compulsion.... |

 Gosh Pauly you didn't even need to wink.... that is a fantastic profile, so don't change it too soon. Just a shame you live so far away and that you don't want to meet couples any more (they must have been mad and I hope they are hanging their heads in shame!)

To be fair (to the couples), it really is a tricky one for a single guy, because, perhaps only one half of the couple wants to meet and then well.....
Look I have nothing against couples per se, but ALL of my let-downs have been with couples (many verified). I am not having a go, just taking myself out of that loop, afterall, weekends are precious. There are a million reasons why something gets cancelled, and I understand these reasons, couples have more "complications" in their lives, than, perhaps, a single guy has, so thats why I have decided to knock that on the head, its not a gripe, its just well, you know, me making a choice.

I think you SHOULD change it every week Pauly, I don't think you need a group to stop you. I think you have a nice fan base and regular updates will keep them all entertained!

This is the third time i have changed ours in the year and half ish we have been on here. Try update pics regular also, as you says you think of things and add them, then find its getting long winded. So good to start over again and condence it lol x |

I read my text regularly, there are parts I'm not totally happy with, that may be a word, a sentence or a paragraph, I m of an opinion that if the text describes you at the time of writing and it continues to reflect you leave it alone, if you think there's a better word, sentence , paragraph or a re-write, tweak away,, ,....now anyone want a tweak, cos' I'm a tweaker and proud.

I don't know about a serial tweaker self help group, but I know of one that might help; the 'get on the M25 and look for a right turn club'

I changed mine fairly recently for the first time since joining, and occasionally add updates for example right now im not meeting until the new year.
I am thinking of giving the profile an overhaul in the new year anyway, its a time i always reflect on what im looking for so a good time to do it i believe.
Pics get changed every couple of months, don't want to be accused of them being out of date. |
