I'd never heard that one before  . I had to look it up: close all a vessel's openings in order to make it water/air tight. Appropriate .
Then I started to wonder why Zulu alpha? And in particular why z before a?
But then I got horny thinking about spit roasts and airtight group sex and got a bit distracted .

I'd never heard that one before . I had to look it up: close all a vessel's openings in order to make it water/air tight. Appropriate .
Alpha is for making it air tight if a ship goes into a suspected chemical/nuclear/biological area.
Zulu closes all water tight doors on the ship.
Then I started to wonder why Zulu alpha? And in particular why z before a?
