I used Craigslist a few times over the years and met a handful of guys.
One turned into a stalker, one “fell in love”, the rest were really fun and great in bed!

Yes I heard this from many guys who’d reply to my ad asking “Do you charge” or “Is this another fake ad”
The majority of ads were fake and bot like, but there were definitely genuine people on there after NSA, plenty nut jobs too! |

Never had a meet. Seemed mostly like scammers. At best I'd describe it as a jumble sale. I did manage a 1 night stand off gumtree though. Was forgettable for both parties. Wouldn't do it again. |

Met a really nice genuine couple on there that turned into a regular thing for a while - she was the best fuck ever and had amazing boobs, it was like finding the golden ticket lol, but agreed most ads were scams.

Craigslist pulled their personal sections due to a lot of the ads being escorts and in the US there were a lot of stories about underage and cooerced escorts.
I used to look at the ads in Hampshire and Kent in the UK as that's where I split my time and it was easy to spot the time waster ads and also the professional add once you knew what to look for (American spellings, location listed as town, or central, and even pics with American or European plug sockets or decor in the background)
I have had a few socials and a couple of longer term relationships with adverts from there but I would respond to maybe 1 in 1000 adverts and put effort into a decent response as was only sending one email a month to ads that were genuine and sane.
Friday ad is supposed to be the best alternative at the moment but in 3 months of looking I have not seen a single and that is non professional AND genuine.
The regular dating sites like POF and OK Cupid are worth a look but you need to enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
I love the social meet and getting to know someone and flirt, tease, and play mentally, so that works for me but if you are all about getting straight to the bedroom then it wouldn't work for you.

I had little joy, apart from a couple of women ranting at me objectifying women!
Pre internet I had most success with LOOT personals, even met one couple through Channel 5 Teletext dating! |

I've gotta say, I had some very hot meets off Craigslist over the years. Made 1 very good friend. Had a few regular meets.
There was alot of people fucking around on there but I did pretty well I think.
I'm going to give vivastreet a go I think, and take a look at this Friday Ads site. |

Poor hit rate due to the sheer quantity of spam and baiting. Had limited success but while the idea is great the reality is less so.
Where desire is exposed there will always be those looking to manipulate and take advantage. |

Prior to Fab I used CL, and had some very good meets including a handful of repeats
Yes there were some loons but no more so than on here.
I'd say CL was in par with here. I honed my skills for spotting a bullshitter and had some genuinely good meets. |

Ah brilliant, Teletext and Loot, Loot was great, happy days!!
I had a few good meets from CL, same as here tbh. Friday ad and Viva Street are mainly paid services on offer, the majority are not swingers. In my view Fab is best but hard for guys to meet couples or women so not sure if there's other alternatives out there that are free and not looking for your credit card.
Looking forward to hearing other suggestions.
