why do you always get a flipping spot when you due for a meet
seriously would you turn up to meet someone with a spot? bareing in mind ive never met him before and you never get a second chanced to make a first impression
im thinking of trying to re arrange for another time lol
the big question is do i lie or tell the truth, what sounds better, sorry my sitters let me down or sorry i've got a spot and i feel to embarrassed to meet you with it? |

Carry on and meet the bloke, don't let a spot spoil it for you. The guy probably won't even notice it anyway and even if he does I doubt it would bother him in the least. He will have had his share of spots in his time too so he will know these things just happen, not much we can do about it.
Have your meet and enjoy. |

Surely you aren't naiVe enough to imagine guys meet woman from fab for their clear complexion. Lol
They don't see us as we see ourselves but would think us a bit shallow or lacking in confidence to cancel over something like that. Either warn him and make a joke of it or cover it up...bet he won't notice/care. Have fun. X |

The same happened to me once and I was mortified about it
I really felt that I could'nt cancel because the meet had been a long time coming and id had to postpone it once before,so if I said sorry im not meeting you because I have a spot it would have sounded like the worst excuse ever
So we went ahead with it,he ripped the piss out of me all night about it and we've met up a few more times since then (without any spot) and I regard him as a great mate now
Don't worry about the spot,just have a great time x |

Sod's Law isn't it, same thing happened to me, why do they always appear when you least want one? I felt like cancelling but it seemed a lame reason...anyway I went ahead and the meet didn't work out.
I blamed the spot! It was my scapegoat. Better than the alternatives

Im very lucky i never gets spots on my face but once i had one between the bottom of my arse and top of my leg. Couldnt see anything in the mirror but it felt mahoosive to me. The guy i was due to meet was a regular guy so told him why i wouldnt meet and he obviously said come on stop being stupid but i refused as all i could imagine was doing it doggy and this spot slamming against his face lol |

I don't suffer from spots and haven't had one on my face for years, but one singular spot wouldn't make me cancel a meet. A bit of concealer would hide that, unless its covering the whole face.
I'd be more embarrassed if it was on my foofoo as I'd be worried he thought I had genital warts.
He won't notice at all, even a large angry spot is not that big and can be covered. If you want to meet then tell him. But imagine if you'd got sitters sorted, new outfit ready, all excited and he text last minute to say sorry can't meet, I've a spot. You wouldn't be bothered about him having one would you ? |

If it's really red, and you have time, do the following. Pop to boots/superdrug and get a green stick concealer (yes, really lol)
As you 'make up' put your foundation on first (if you use it) then grab an ice cube from the freezer and hold it to the spot for a couple of minutes. This should bring some of the redness/swelling down. Then take your green concealer and blend it in round the red areas. Green cancels our red and is much more effective at covering spots. You can pop some of your normal concealer over the top if you like. Blot with powder and hey presto - GO MEET!
