First of all it’s not that far away, personally I’m really looking forward to it, as my radiotherapy is due to start any week, so Christmas I should be almost back to normal... so I want to know what you are planning or like doing for Christmas, and what’s your favourite Christmas song?
Come on for me please!!!
Has to be the pogues “fairytale in New York” |

Fairytale of new York is one of my favourite songs.
As for Christmas plans I imagine it will be much the same as last year although nothing is arranged yet.
I do all the work and my disabled mum invites everyone she can think of to join us on Christmas day. Nobody offers to help with either the cooking or the washing up and I can't even find the time to have a gin and tonic until about 9pm, by which point I'm knackered and ready for bed |

No plans of yet other than having Xmas off work and having to work New Years instead
My favorite Xmas song is “driving home for Christmas” because it reminds me of my dad he used to work away when we were little but he’d always make sure the drive home for Xmas every year to be with us |

Washing up definitely needs to be delegated to others don't hesitate to get everyone do their bit. |

"Admin....this thread needs closed down!"
I agree, I like Christmas but for me it starts on December 1st. We've had a glorious weekend weather wise, sun still shining, it's still summer!! |

Yes! Finally!
I’m so glad someone else wants to talk about Christmas as much as me hahaha!
I mentioned it on my status about two weeks ago and everyone as like “Noooo”.
I absolutely love Christmas, it’s my favourite time of the year, coming from a big family, I have 7 siblings and my maternal grandmother has 14 children. A lot of us try and get together over a good few days right up until New Years Day, usually at my Nans first then someone else volunteers! I’m such a family person so I really look forward to it all! |

So many great Christmas songs, Slade Merry Christmas Everybody, Wizard Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday, John Lennon Happy Christmas (War Is Over), but I do think Fairytale Of New York is the most accurate Christmas song, as not everyone has the perfect snowy white Christmas. |
