I'm curious how people get into the lifestyle, especially couples. Was it something you always knew you were interested in? Or did you your interest grow over time? Did you both get into it simultaneously or was it one that initiated it? |

For us it was an open and honest chat. We have a 24 year age gap and although sophie likes and gets on with older guys (luckily for me) she does of course like the idea of playing with a younger model now and again. we have both been in relationships where we have either been cheated on or cheated

I've answered this on a similar thread some time ago, but as I'm stuck in the house today waiting for an electrician to turn up (we are in Spain so it could be a long wait LOL) I'll go for it again.
I (Mr) started this way back in the mid/late 80's. My first marriage was on a downward slope and I was just looking for a bit of uncomplicated sex so I started advertising in the "Loot" ads (remember them?)
I'd had a few meets from them but all with single women then one day I was contacted by a couple who wanted me for a threesome.

They told me about a swinger club. I thought WTF is swinger club? But they told me and then one night I decided to go and take a look. It was the Adam and Eve at Eccles which I think at that time was the only one in the country.
After my first visit I was well and truly hooked and was a regular there for quite a few years. That was in the days when Dave and Sue owned it and Irish Tony was on the desk.
As time went on and I had a few relationships I sort of hopped in and out of swinging but up to that point it had been 99% as a single guy (I did take a fuck buddy to a club a couple of times but that was it as a couple)
In any relationship I was in I never made a secret of what I had been doing but none were particularly interested until in 1999 I met who became my first proper swinging partner.
It started as a normal vanilla relationship but after a couple of months we were talking one night about things we had done in the past and up popped the subject of swinging. I told her about what I had done then she completely bowled me over by telling me that she had been to clubs (and had private meets) with her ex husband.
The following week we went to a club which was the start of a 4 year full on swinging relationship. In that time we visited most of the clubs in the north west and even did a couple of clubs in Holland.
After that broke up I carried on as a single guy again for a while before I moved abroad.
Myself and Mrs H got together 13 years ago and I'd mentioned quite early on about what I had done in the past, but for the first 3 years she showed no interest at all.
Then one evening there was a programme on German TV about swinger clubs and she was watching it quite keenly and even asking me questions about the clubs I had been to. Then out of the blue she said she wanted to go to one (just for a look )
So I had a quick look on google maps and realised that Fun4two in Holland (which I had visited previously with my Ex) was only a couple of hours away so a couple of weeks later off we went and she loved it. The first time I joined I was searching the internet for dating sites and stumbled across fab.

I don't really remember exactly how I got into it myself, I guess I was always turned on by the idea of my partners being with another guy but used to be too jealous to take it any further.
