Not yet, but as others have said it is very useful for seeing what people are like and also showing what you are like.
I also think that people who post frequently on the forums are less likely to be timewasters as they have a "presence" so to speak.

Yes, a few times - chatting on here is a great way to see if you have any common ground with people. Often a bit of banter on a thread will lead to me checking out someone's profile (or vice versa) and things can just progress from there in the usual way! |

We've met a number of couples in person after meeting in the forums.
We've arranged to meet others at clubs or parties if we live a distance from each other.
Come to think of it, we've had some great times through meeting here. |

I would say approx 50% of our meets have been people we have conversed with on the forums.
Great way to get to know their personalities & also get to know who we would never meet in a month of Sundays. |
