The newby on the site, scratching the service trying to break the ice ! No I’m kidding!

Thought I’d start a thread about beards ! Men do post your best mandly magic fluff !

Ladies what does a beard mean to you on a man, what’s your instinct reaction? Is a beard a good cushion when you sit on your fellas face !?

Post your thoughts !!

Hell no! Can’t stand facial hair at all be it beards or just stubble. It’s far too scratchy and not at all attractive to me.

Can’t say I’ve ever met a guy who looks good with a beard either, except maybe Santa

Keep it trimmed and use beard shampoo and oil to keep it in prime condition. I grew mine because my ex hated stubble scratching and I wasn't going to shave twice a day.

So what's your view on stubble, up top not down below? I can understand your concerns about the current trend for the bearded hipster goblin look, like some Georgian throwback

It irritates my skin! So I prefer freshly shaven!

I can't believe I could be in any way irritating, but you're not allowed to ask any ex's

My wife doesn't like beards so any bearded approaches we get are instant now from her. She doesn't mind short soft stubble but prefers clean shaven.

Different women will have different preferences though.

I always use a quality beard oil with citrus notes on a date or meet. Keeps it soft and has generated compliments.

.

The latest trend of beards will/have gone just like the 70s-80s mullet or perm,

The Men who had them before they became popular will be left to own their beard again,

Says the Man who can't grow a beard

Its all about the long/big floppy hair now, Hair product companies must be coining it in

It's the Victorian era beards that are so popular at the moment that I don't get. Did someone see an old photograph and decide, 'they need to make a comeback?'

I've had a beard so long now that I don't know what I would look like without it, and the prospect of finding out is way too scary!

Luckily Mrs Ravensong likes it and the beads in the end can come in handy at times

If it’s very neat and not too heavy, well groomed, then that’s okay, I like to see a bit of skin through normally.

Other than that smooth please.

I’ve turned down guys for too much facial hair.

I like to see a strong jawline, it’s an attraction point for me.

I have met guys with beards .. and some just stubble. I prefer it when either clean shaven or longer than stubble as I get a rash. But prefer clean shaven.

I have met one or two guys who haven't necessarily bothered washing their beard before a meet.. and it wasn't the best smell when going in for a kiss.
